How to cook stewed ribs in a slow cooker with potatoes
For starters, as in the previous recipe, we turn to meat. Pork ribs cut in portions are cooked faster, and it’s more convenient to eat them. Some housewives bake or fry the whole ribs, and the finished dish is already cut into portions. This option is acceptable, but not always and not convenient for everyone.
In our recipe, we will cut the ribs before starting cooking. Salt them a little, add fragrant spices. You can rub the ribs with turmeric or curry so that they acquire a delicious orange color. We send the meat to the bowl of the multicooker, where there is already a spoonful of oil.
Onions are cut into large rings, sent to the meat. Peel the potatoes and cut them into long strips. It is important that the potato slices are large enough. - 480 g of ribs;
- 120 g of onions;
- 220 g buckwheat;
- butter;
- water;

Cooking method
Before cooking, buckwheat should be sorted out, washed well. Onions - large half rings. Cut the ribs into portioned slices. Before sending to the multicooker bowl, it is recommended to rub the meat with salt and dried thyme. Leave the ribs to "rest" for 5-7 minutes.
Pour the oil into the bowl, put the meat slices, add the onion. On the baking program, lightly fry the ingredients. 10 minutes will be enough. Add the cereal, ground pepper, the required amount of water (usually 1/2) and, closing the lid, cook for 40 minutes. The mode is "quenching".
