All the little things were seized concerning pay phones, newspapers, the situation in the apartments of the late seventies, the clothes of the characters. This is what distinguishes a good movie from a bad one. And Pavel Derevyanko, who played the main character, amazingly reincarnated. Not only is he an excellent actor, but also his strong internal energy gave him the opportunity to fully reveal himself, to fully plunge into the role.

How many emotions, how many memories evoke in the audience of "middle and high school age" this series! After all, they perfectly remember this time. Perhaps some will say that not everything in the film is shown exactly from there, but the most important thing - the spirit of that time - was perfectly captured. And if you compare everything you saw with films that were shot at that time, you can be sure that not only some common backgrounds, but also various little things were carefully worked out.
There is no doubt that the series “The Other Side of the Moon,” whose actors and roles are remembered for a long time, “hangs on” Derevyanko with his excellent work. In some ways, his acting game resembles the talent of Jean-Paul Belmondo and even Vysotsky. And I must say that in the company of these legendary personalities, the Russian actor occupies a worthy position. Another great musical accompaniment, the author of which was clearly inspired by the masterpieces of Pink Floyd.
The storyline of the series: how it all began
For three consecutive years, senior police lieutenant Mikhail Solovyov has been trying to catch a maniac who has been killing young women in Moscow for several years. So close is the moment of truth - Misha almost overtook the villain. He has very little left: to take the criminal. But it was on the day of his arrest that the protagonist was informed that his father had died, whom Soloviev had not seen for nearly thirty years.
During the detention of the red-haired maniac Mikhail, he is hit by a car. After the accident, the lieutenant was unconscious for some time. He woke up already in the hospital ward in 1979. In the body of his own father ...
The storyline of the series: either I, or father; whether wife or mother
Still in the greatest shock of everything that was happening, Misha Soloviev met a girl. This is Katya, a nurse, a very kind and sympathetic person who is absolutely sincerely worried about his health and his well-being. The actors who star in this picture are very talented, thanks to coordinated actions, everything was interconnected: actors and roles. “The reverse side of the moon” perfectly tells this whole extraordinary story.
Very soon, Misha gets acquainted with his (that is, father's) colleagues. Soloviev Sr. also worked as a police investigator. And everything seems to be starting to get better, he’s even getting used to the fact that at this time there are no mobile phones, no computers, and no one has heard anything about perestroika. But he has one insoluble incident: in 1979, Mikhail faces 10 years of age. And now this boy - he himself in childhood - considers him, an adult, his father. And his own mother in the same 1979 de jure is his legal wife.
The plot line of the series: from fire to the fire
This incomprehensible and strange, moral and temporal continuum, he now must solve absolutely himself. Moreover, in a very difficult situation for himself - he has no friends and acquaintances, no home and work. He is in a practically unfamiliar and even hostile reality of the Soviet era of the late 70s.

Very quickly, Mikhail Solovyov realized that the same maniac whom he had caught in his time was also working in 1979. The lieutenant guessed that they were transported to the past at the same time. Now one more thing has been added to the existing problems: Misha needs to catch the killer here in parallel with the disclosure of current affairs.
So here in this picture there were stories that clearly identified the actors and roles. “The reverse side of the moon”, like a tape with a certain illusion of what is happening, combined the talent of the artists, excellent directorial and cameraman work, and a wonderful plot. Which gave such a result.
Series Storyline: Love and Promotion
Over time, Michael understands that the everyday life of a simple policeman of the Soviet Union is no easier than a policeman of the Russian Federation. Using his knowledge from the future, he reveals a number of complex crimes. Soloviev is rapidly advancing through the ranks. He is assigned the rank of captain.

In parallel with work affairs, Mikhail’s hobby for the young nurse Katya is getting stronger and stronger every day. For him, this relationship is the only outlet in gray everyday life and the only weakness. What the maniac did not fail to take advantage of in order to subjugate Soloviev’s will and at least in this way force him to fulfill all his requirements.
But all this happened at the end of the first season of the series “The Other Side of the Moon”. The actors of the series did their best to make the story fascinating and real. And they did great.
The story is not over
Fans of the first season should not have been upset. In 2016, the series “The Back of the Moon-2” was released. The actors and their roles in it remained the same. But here the story spun completely different, but with old heroes. Again with Mikhail Solovyov incredible movements in time and space take place. He falls into our time again. But ... Very soon, Misha realizes how much he is mistaken. After all, he is in the USSR, in which perestroika never happened. Michael is forced to work as a regular precinct. All the same maniac Pavlov will interfere with his work.
