One of the series, which has a scientific and fantastic bias, was shown on NBC for 4 years (from 2006 to 2010). He talks about superheroes, their abilities, and, of course, there are times when characters save the world.
The television series "Heroes" is a complex plot chain of events, all the actors of which the first time so easy to count. The main objective of the series was to show all viewers the grave war associated with the prevention of a global catastrophe. A special place in the conflict of the story is also occupied by the attitude to the characters if they suddenly reveal themselves.
The Heroes franchise became successful, and under this influence a huge number of games, videos, magazines, short stories came out. But, despite this, the channel still stopped shooting and closed the series.
A little bit about the series
The Heroes story was created under the guidance of Tim Kring. The first episode was released on NBC in the fall of 2006. Among the supernatural skills of the characters are the following: telepathy, the ability to emit radioactive substances, the ability to pass through time and copy the skills of others.
A trial series called “Origin” broke television channel records for the last 5 years: more than 14 million people watched it. The reason for closing the series, for which the script for season 5 was already written, was the low ratings of the latest series. In the entire history of the project, both the heroes (including Hiro Nakamura) and the series themselves received a number of awards. Among them there are the most prestigious - "Emmy" and "Golden Globe".
After a long lull in 2014, NBC ordered a small 13-episode series, in which other actors have already taken part. He appeared on the screens in September 24, 2015. As for the second season, it will not be, according to representatives.
The plot of the series
After a natural anomaly (solar eclipse), several hundred people received the gift. Some got talents that not only helped them to their feet in real life, but also contributed to the development of science. Among those were the ability to fly, heal, and move in time. Other abilities could harm both the owners and the surrounding world.
One of the main characters - Chandra - begins to investigate unusual situations, slowly leading himself and the audience to the fact that the theory of evolution, according to Suresh, is really true. Interest in people with supernatural powers ultimately kills him.
Hiro Nakamura and everyone else who has found the gift are wanted by the Company. However, this is done for a reason: in order to train the children to use their talents in the latter, otherwise they will be destroyed.
The so-called superheroes initially did not even realize that they were wanted. Their life changes when a huge explosion can occur due to a flammable person, which the heroes will have to warn.
Nakamura Hiro
The most ordinary guy Nakamura always liked to relax: read comics, watch TV and play games. His nickname Super Hiro was invented by the hero’s best friend. This comic name can be explained by the fact that the guy constantly presented himself as one of the characters in comics, traveling through fantasy worlds and saving them from evil.
The turning point in Hiro’s life is when a guy notices himself in Isaac’s story and correctly decrypts what he saw — he is one of the superheroes.
When Hiro realizes that he has the ability to teleport, he feels the happiest in the world. However, he still had a long training. First, from the very beginning, Hiro was not able to rewind time too far. Secondly, traveling exhausted the young man so much that he simply remained exhausted. In addition to the usual gift to move in time, the young man was able to stop him.
Hiro Nakamura (the actor Masi Oka, who played the role, became famous thanks to this character) worked in the company of his father. His first time travel was a transfer to the near future. In him, the young man saw not the most pleasant event - the death of New York. Work guy always seemed boring, so the chance to save the world seemed interesting enough to him. He left the company of his father to his older sister, giving her all the powers, and continued to engage in the main mission.
Over time, the guy improves his skills, but after some events from this talent, he develops a brain tumor. He gradually dies: speech, coordination is injured. But Ando, who remained partial, returns everything to its place. Hiro is being operated on and he is fully recovering.
Hiro can be called one of the most positive characters in the series "Heroes". This is due to the fact that he, thanks to the comics, has developed a genuine sense of heroism and kindness. He was reasonable and smart. Hiro is returning to the past to make all his loved ones and those around him truly happy.
Hiro in the series
According to the creator of the series, Hiro was named after the Japanese city, which was subjected to atomic bombings, Hiroshima and its inhabitants. According to fan versions, it can be argued that the guy’s name also symbolizes the heroism shown throughout the series.
- "Origin". In the first chapter, Nakamura appears literally in the first series. You can see the very laid-back and ordinary life of a lazy and carefree young man. As an office worker and a level 3 programmer in the company of his father, he was lonely and spent all his free time on comics and games. Among all the stories that Hiro read constantly, there is one in which he recognizes himself. Starting to develop his abilities, the guy, thanks to a friend, prevents a disaster in New York.
"Generations." The entire second chapter shows the viewer the hero’s journey through Japan in 1671. He meets Adam Monroe and helps him accomplish feats.
"Villains." It depicts events related to the activities of Arthur Petrelli. He erases the memory of Hiro until the age of 10. However, she was returned to him thanks to the mother of the hero and Ando. A little later, the same villain deprives Nakamura of the abilities that Matt Jr. returns.
"Redemption". Hiro has a terrible disease - he developed a tumor. Claire is not able to help him, as her intervention can only accelerate the development of the disease. Therefore, she, along with Peter, goes to look for a guy who has the peculiarity of cure. While the guys are trying to somehow alleviate the suffering of Nakamura, the hero himself is doing incredible things - he is returning to the past and trying to improve the life of others.
Hiro's relationship with other characters
- Kaito Nakamura is the father of the hero. Had a gift to predict the future. Died in season 2.
- Takeso Kensei is a samurai. He can also be recognized as Adam Monroe. Hiro respected this man all his life, but when he realized that all his achievements were bought, he became disappointed in him.
- Ando Masahashi is a best friend. They are familiar from childhood and work in the same office. In chapter 4, Hiro, returning to the past, had Ando marry his friend’s sister in the future.
- Charlie Andrews is Hiro's lover. Sylar kills her in the very first season. Nakamura could not prevent this, but then he returned to the past and helped her learn Japanese, she helped him learn English.
- Sylar. Before the 4th season, Hiro hates him, but then, in order to save Charlie, he resorts to the help of a villain.
Monheader Suresh
In the first 2 seasons, this hero had no features. Only after he investigated the abilities of some guys, including Hiro Nakamura, did the guy decide to inject himself a special serum. He brought her out with the help of a girl who is capable of killing eyes, Maya Herrera. However, this mistake became fatal - Suresh began to turn into a monster. It also resembled Spider-Man in some ways and even could let out thick mucus that looked like a web. Through time, Monchider managed to derive the correct formula and regain his former appearance, but his features that he received during the mutation remained.
It is also surprising that his blood is a remedy for Santhi's disease. Therefore, one way or another, the guy is unique from birth.
Peter Petrelli
Peter's gift was the adoption of other people's forces. He could imitate any abilities of surrounding people. The creator of the series explained this feature by a too strong desire to become closer to others. Over time, the guy learned not only to imitate talents, taking them from his memory, but also to use several at once.
The decisive moment in the life of Peter was the acquisition of the gift of Silar. He was in the great desire for murder. With the intervention of his father, Petrelli's strength disappeared. Over the entire period, the guy managed to become invisible (Claude), tried to throw lightning (El Bishop), fly (Nathan Petrelli), go through time (Hiro Nakamura) and others. In season 3, after the serum from the "Company" Peter again acquired his abilities.
Sylar
One of the main anti-heroes in the series is Sylar. Thanks to his ability to understand how everything works, he could easily explain another person’s way of thinking. The guy becomes a serial killer, due to which he takes over the qualities of his victims. Among the latter was supposed to be Hiro Nakamura's girlfriend Charlie Andrews, who had an amazing memory. But her friend managed to return to the past and adjust everything so that the girl remained alive.
