He seriously fears for the woman’s mental health, agreeing to write Emily only on the condition that she will regularly appear at his appointment.
Emily tries to restore her mental health with antidepressants, but they do not help her. At this time, Jonathan decides to contact his patient's former psychiatrist, Dr. Victoria Seebert. She recommends him to use the modern drug "Ablixa" in the treatment. Jonathan has serious doubts about the safety of this experimental medicine, but he still decides to prescribe it after Emily makes another attempt to take her own life. It turns out that Ablix works effectively. Emily's normal life is restored, only cases of somnambulism appear. In this state, she kills her husband with a kitchen knife.

His career crashes, as many believe that it was his prescribed drug that led to such sad consequences. Emily agrees to be declared insane. She is placed in a psychiatric clinic, where she must be until the psychiatrist recognizes her as healthy. Her case continues to lead Jonathan.
In the life of the psychiatrist himself, sad changes are taking place. His career has been ruined, his family has broken up, but he still wants to know the truth. He manages to establish that there was a conspiracy between Emily and Victoria. Then he injects a placebo to his patient under the guise of truth serum. Under the influence of a placebo, a woman falls asleep, a psychiatrist understands that she only pretends to be depressed.
The psychiatrist tells Victoria about her suspicions, after which she sends his wife photos that hint at his affair with the patient. Wife decides to leave Jonathan. Then the psychiatrist forbids Emily from contacting Victoria, while simultaneously convincing each of the women that he works for the other.
True from Emily
Finally, Emily tells the truth. She admits that she hated her husband when he was under investigation, as she considered guilty of losing everything. She herself seduced Victoria, told her about the financial frauds, which she learned from her husband. In return, Victoria taught the woman how to play a mentally unstable person. Their plan was to fake the side effects of Ablix, making a lot of money from the fall in the shares of the manufacturer of the drug and the growth of quotes of its competitors.
Jonathan agrees to release Emily from the psychiatric clinic only on condition that she testifies against Victoria. The main character is poisoned by Victoria, hiding a microphone in her clothes. She again seduces her, in a conversation the doctor confirms his participation in the crimes. She is being arrested, and Emily is free, because under American law she cannot be accused of the same crime twice. Revenge for her comes up with Jonathan, who prescribes drugs with serious side effects, threatening to return her to a psychiatric hospital.
Angry, Emily begins to scream that she did all this just so as not to end up in prison. At the time, her lawyer, Martin’s mother, and police officers are outside the door . The woman is returned to a psychiatric hospital.

Among the shortcomings, the most meticulous viewers noted that the plot of the tape is really good only in dynamics, and if you start to carefully understand and analyze what is happening, it turns out that it is simply through and through with holes, and therefore implausible.
