Statistics say that on the rise in prices, the interest of buyers in the search for budget drugs instead of expensive drugs has recently increased almost four times. People suffering from diseases of the veins try to find a cheap analogue of Troxevasin without losing its therapeutic effect. It is no secret that most low-cost drugs are often less effective.
But not in the case of Troxerutin: the significant price difference between Troxevasin (from the Bulgarian company Balkanpharma) and the domestic popular counterpart does not prevent the latter from competing with the original and the therapeutic effect. They can save on treatment also other drugs-analogues of this drug, which may include a variety of components that differ from the original formulation.
Composition: compare Troxevasin with analogues
The external agent Troxevasin, according to the annotation, has a venotonic and decongestant effect. Its main active ingredient is troxerutin (20 mg per 1 g of gel base) - a semi-synthetic substitute for natural rutin (vitamin PP), which is rich in certain types of medicinal plants. Apply this medication for the treatment of: varicose veins of any etiology; varicose dermatitis and varicose veins; phlebitis and superficial thrombophlebitis; hemorrhoids; muscle pain and swelling after injuries; severe ailments of the optic nerve and retina resulting from complications of diabetes. The cheapest analogue of Troxevasin is a gel called Troxerutin.

It also contains the active ingredient of the same name. This budgetary Russian substitute is included in the same pharmaceutical group of drugs that strengthen the walls of the veins and reduce the permeability of capillaries as the original. Moreover, the amount of active ingredient (troxerutin) in the analogue significantly exceeds its volume in Troxevasin due to the content of additional components in the latter. “Venolan” also has an identical active substance - troxerutin, in addition to which is polyvinylpyrrolidone. The compositions of Troxegel and Troxevenol are as similar as possible in terms of the set of ingredients to Troxevasin.
Tablets and Troxevasin gel: cheaper analogues
The list of the main inexpensive drugs, the effect of which is not inferior to the venotonic and decongestant effect of Troxevasin, consists of Troxerutin (2% gel, costing from 26 to 44 rubles and capsules, the average packaging price of which is 190-200 rubles), Venolana , Troxegel, Troxevenol, Venohepanol, Phlebaton and Venorutinol.
This is an incomplete list of the most popular drugs that can replace the Bulgarian drug. Troxevenol gel consists of troxerutin and indomethacin, its full analogue, Indovazin, may well replace Troxevasin. Drugs based on another active substance - sodium heparin - have a similar effect on the veins, but at the same time prevent thrombosis.
These include domestic medicines: Heparin-Akrigel (Akrikhin, Russia), Trombless (Nizhpharm, Russia).
Troxevasin: analog tablets are cheaper (list)
Drug treatment of varicose veins is one of the most important factors in the successful treatment of an ailment. It is no secret that it sometimes affects organs that cannot be cured solely by ointments or gels. In such situations, at the initial stage and for the prevention of exacerbations of venous insufficiency, in addition to an external agent in the form of a gel, doctors comprehensively prescribe "Troxevasinum" (tablets).
Cheaper analogues can be found in pharmacies under the names: Ascorutin (it is produced by many domestic pharmaceutical enterprises, including Marbiopharm and Altivitamins), as well as Anavenol (Zentiva, Czech Republic).
Analogs in capsules
Not less than 360-370 rubles for 50 pieces or 630-650 rubles for 100 pieces in a package will have to pay the buyer for the Troxevasin medicine (capsules) today. Other manufacturers (including domestic ones) offer cheaper analogues: Troxerutin, Venorutinol, Phlebaton, Venoruton capsules (the price of this drug depends on the pharmaceutical company that produces the drug, so it can be either lower or higher, than the original).
The price range for the domestic Troxerutin: capsules can be purchased in a package (30 pieces) for 190 rubles, and a box with five blisters (50 capsules 300 mg each) will cost the buyer 240 rubles.
Ointments
Despite the fact that many drugs are available only in the form of tablets, capsules and gel, a very different name has taken root very quickly among the people. It is ointments that patients often call medicines for external use in the form of a gel. As such, this form was excluded by the manufacturers, but over time, two synonyms - gel and ointment - took root. Today on the forums you can read that from bruises and swelling, sprains and bruises (bruises) after an injury, it helps "Troxevasinum" (ointment). An analogue cheaper than the original is Troxerutin, which is also praised for its ability to improve tissue trophism and remove metabolic products from them. Its price is significantly lower than the well-known Bulgarian drug.

Moreover, the quality of treatment, regardless of the indications, is not inferior to the original. The cheapest analogue of Troxevasin ointment can be used for venous insufficiency and varicose veins (including pre-varicose veins), for phlebitis and superficial thrombophlebitis, for spasms of the calf muscles and in the post-phlebitis period, for pain and swelling as a result of varicose veins and injuries, as part of a complex treatment of "royal disease" (as hemorrhoids is often called). “Troxerutin” costs mere pennies - from 29 to 64 rubles, depending on the region, the manufacturer and the weight of the package.
Therapeutic effect: pros and cons of analogues
Despite the fact that not all analogues are structurally consistent in composition with the megapopular drug Troxevasin, their indications for use are identical. For example, Troxerutin gel effectively protects capillaries, has good penetration, and reduces vascular permeability. "Troxegel" - another cheap analogue of "Troxevasin" - is known for its ability to relieve spasms of the calf muscles due to additional components in its composition (benzalkonium chloride, trometamol and some others). At the same time, it is called the inability to take long courses of therapy due to the presence of the same benzalkonium chloride in the composition, which provokes hypersensitivity reactions. Phleboton (Bulgaria) has almost the same composition and a whole list of possible side effects, which is a significant drawback.
Features of the use of analog drugs "Troxevasin"
One of the external remedies is the Trombless gel, which is an analogue of the well-known Bulgarian medicine, created on the basis of heparin, therefore it has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effect.
In addition, it reduces platelet aggregation, contributes to a decrease in the level of thrombin and hyaluronidase activity. The price of this analogue is low, it starts from 170 rubles.
Heparin ointment worth about 50-70 rubles is used only on the recommendation of a doctor. Particular caution should be exercised for people with an increased tendency of tissues to bleed, as well as for thrombocytopenia. It is necessary to carefully monitor contraindications to the use of drugs: Ascorutin tablets are prohibited for use during pregnancy and lactation. Even this harmless vitamin can cause a side effect expressed by an allergic reaction, dyspeptic disorder, or headache. The use of "Anavenol" - an analogue of "Troxevasin" in tablets - together with antibiotics can enhance its therapeutic effect. Side effects after taking this medication, regardless of dosage, may manifest as bleeding, dizziness, or nausea. Children under 15 years of age are strictly forbidden to prescribe this drug!
Warning
The doctor should decide which cheap Troxevasin analogue is preferable for treatment in each individual case. Otherwise, disappointment from a useless or even harmful medicine will be stronger than the joy of the money saved.
