Like all lovers of savory salty dishes, I just love salty herring. Previously, I bought it in a store, and for the last couple of years I have added salt myself and, believe me, it turns out to be simply incredibly tasty. In contrast to the herring that is for sale, in my own cooked fish I can regulate the amount of salt and various spices. It turns out a magnificent herring of spicy salting, delicate and fragrant. In general, I share the recipe for homemade salted and pickled herring, as well as what can be cooked from it.

Salted herring: a home-made recipe

This is a very simple recipe for the lazy. We buy 3 herrings. We wash them, cleans from the insides. Mix a pound of salt and 10 g of sunflower hops, dry dill to taste. We rub herring with the mixture outside and inside. At the bottom of the pan, pour half of the remaining mixture and spread the herring there. We also fall asleep from above. After a day, the herring needs to be washed.

Pickled herring: a home-made recipe

We cleanse a kilogram of fresh herring, remove the skin and cut into portioned pieces. Then prepare the marinade. For him, we cut three onions in half rings, sprinkle them with 3 small tablespoons of sugar, 2 large tablespoons of salt, pour a pinch of black pepper, pour this mixture with 2 tablespoons of vinegar essence, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 10 tablespoons. tablespoons of water and half a glass of vegetable oil. We bring all this to a boil, slightly cool and fill the fish. The time of the marinade is 24 hours. After this, the herring can be served on the table or some dish made from it.

Salted Herring: Canapes Recipe

For a beer snack, you can prepare very tasty and tender small sandwiches with herring. 30 g of butter in a water bath is brought to room temperature and mixed with chopped dill (4 large branches without stems). Cut black or rye bread into small slices, removing the crust. Two slices of salted herring fillet should be cut into pieces corresponding to the size of the bread. Cut 2 thin plates from one lemon and divide each into 6 parts. We spread dill oil on bread , put a piece of herring and lemon. Garnish with a small sprig of dill. Canapes are ready.

Salted Herring: Beetroot Salad Recipe

Two herrings need to be cut into thin pieces. Three medium-sized beets need to be boiled until tender, peeled and cut into strips. Cut two onions into rings and sprinkle with vinegar. Five proteins, too, cut into strips. We mix all the ingredients and season with the sauce. The sauce is prepared like this: 5 yolks are ground with a spoonful of sugar, add 150 g of natural yogurt without fruits and a spoonful of mustard.

Salted herring: salad recipe with nuts and apples

Half a kilo of herring should be soaked in milk and scrolled through a meat grinder with 1 apple (it needs to be peeled and seeds removed), 2 eggs, 15 walnuts and a large onion, pre-Passaged. This mixture must be laid out in a herring and formed in the form of a herring. Sprinkle with chopped egg and chopped green onion.

Four salty herrings are cut into small pieces. Pour boiling water over two fresh tomatoes, peel and cut. Cut 2 sour apples and pour them with lemon juice. We cut rings 1 onion. 400 g of canned corn and 300 g of canned tangerines are separated from the marinade. Mix all the ingredients and pour the lemon juice. We lay the lettuce leaves on the dish and spread the resulting mixture on them. Unusual tender salad is ready.
