Among the many extraordinary people born in Russia, a young man named Dmitry Vetchinnikov stands out with particular originality. Although he managed to participate in several programs, the guy attracted special attention to his person only after appearing in May 2014 in the program "Dinner Party", which was released on the Ren-TV channel.
After the scandal that occurred because of the shame that Dmitry brought to his university in the process of participating in the “Dinner Party”, he became a particularly recognizable person. Academic success
Dmitry Vetchinnikov was born in Kazan in August 1993. Since childhood, he did not like to talk much, avoided people. A terrible shyness led a thirteen-year-old teenager to the Kizichesky monastery, from where his parents had to take him by force. When receiving secondary education, Dmitry clearly showed his outstanding mental abilities. He turned out to be the only owner of a gold medal in his release. And he studied, by the way, at the Lobachevsky Lyceum, which focuses on the education of gifted children.
After receiving secondary education in the strongest educational institution in Tatarstan, Dmitry continued to replenish his knowledge bins in another strongest institution in the country. Having won first place at the Republican School Olympiad in Physics and scored 100 points in Russian when passing the exam, he easily became a student at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. And here Dmitry Vetchinnikov did well in school. He even managed to combine MIPT with Ostankino - that is, he studied and worked at the same time.
Work on television
Dmitry began combining his studies with work when he was in his second year at the institute. It was then that the young man got a job at the Ostankino television technical center and since then has sparked a genuine interest in this kind of activity. At that time, the shy kid first gained experience working in front of a television camera - he took part in one of the programs for “Live Healthy” programs.
When, while remaining a student, Dmitry began to work in the Amedia studio, he was invited to the program “Dinner Party”. Participation in this television project was taken not by the shy Dmitry Vetchinnikov, but by a completely new, liberated one. True, good or bad is a moot point.
Here it is - fame!
In 2014, millions of viewers watched Dmitry in the program “Dinner Party”, the participants of which in turn invite each other to visit, and then they themselves evaluate each other's hospitality and culinary abilities. The guy gave his best: he welcomed the guests cordially in his own room of the student dormitory, gave them a salad with chicken and prunes and soup, instead of plates, poured into empty bread loaves, tried to behave simply and at ease.
The project participants did not appreciate Dmitry’s efforts, as a result of which the total number of points scored by him turned out to be unexpectedly low. The young man did not become the winner of the 322nd week of the “Dinner Party”, but then fame came to him, although not the one he was counting on.
The scandal after the dinner party
The teachers and students of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology did not appreciate Dmitry Vetchinnikov’s stories about his institute, they considered that his behavior brought shame to this prestigious educational institution. Because of the scandal that erupted around the guy, he was assigned personal protection for several days to move around the campus.
In order not to lose the privilege of continuing to receive education at this university, Dmitry Vetchinnikov decided to record a video message to students and employees of the institute, expressing his regret about the deed. He sincerely admitted that he did not seek to offend anyone's feelings, but only wanted to have fun and create a good impression. According to him, he did not expect that his innocent pranks would cause such a resonance and cause a stain on the reputation of the institution.
Hobbies and aspirations
Dmitry Vetchinnikov, whose biography, after the scandalous story that happened to him, became interesting to many, has long ceased to be shy. The teenage years took away all complexes from his life, he became open and sociable. He considers himself an extrovert and associates all his aspirations with show business.
There are three hobbies in Dmitry’s life: classical music, genuine cinema and weightlifting. Despite his very slim figure, the young man already has some achievements in weightlifting sports. Even as a student, he became a champion at the institute in his weight category. "The path to show business can open up the possession of a beautiful pumped up body," says Dmitry Vetchinnikov, whose photo shows that today he pays enough attention to this.
What does Dmitry do today
Now Dmitry Vetchinnikov has two areas of his activity, and none of them is connected with physics. Firstly, he releases his rap compositions, and secondly, he organizes various social events with the participation of stars. Dmitry maintains friendship and some cooperation with Nikolai Dolzhansky after both of them became the brightest heroes of the program “Dinner Party”.
They say that a talented person is talented in everything. About Dmitry Vetchinnikov, we can confidently say that he is gifted in many ways. But above all, he values his talent in stage art. Although Dmitry hardly considers the years spent in training at the Institute of Physics and Technology to be wasted, he decided to turn his life in the direction of his dream - show business. Now Dima is studying at the Institute of Performing Arts and hopes to build a great career in this field.
