Childhood
The young singer was born on July 1, 1993 in the small town of Voronezh. Even before entering high school, the girl studied at the local choreographic school. After two years at the school, Ekaterina Savelyeva decided to change the choir to a modeling business, so she entered a modeling studio. In parallel, the girl was engaged in ballroom dancing and horse riding, and also tried to go to tennis training. From the age of eight, Katya took part in various ballroom dance competitions. For five years, the young dancer collected 11 gold medals in ballroom dancing and once took bronze.
Music
After ballroom dancing, the girl continued to act as a singer. At the age of 13, Katya took part in the selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The following year she received several titles at music competitions.
The most important success came from performing at the New Wave international competition in 2010. At 17, the girl was able to surprise the audience and the judges, showing her outstanding abilities. In the semifinal part of the competition, on the “New Wave” 2010, Katya Savelyeva became the youngest performer in the history of the creative contest.
After participating in the "New Wave", the young singer decided to develop her musical data. Acquaintance with the famous composer Brandon Stone, prompted Katya to start recording his first album.
In 2012, a talented performer took part in the selection for Eurovision. The famous Russian composer Viktor Drobysh helped to create the song. However, Kate failed to break into the international competition.
