Leonor Varela Palma was born on December 29 in 1972 in Santiago, Chile. Her father, Francisco Varela, a rather famous philosopher and neuroscientist, mother Leonor Palma is a dancer. Career in Hollywood dates back to the 1998 film “The Man in the Iron Mask”. But great success came to her after the role of the Queen of Egypt in the mini-series "Cleopatra".
