The drug is prescribed for the treatment of angina pectoris, cardiac arrhythmias associated with rheumatoid lesions (sinus and paroxysmal tachycardia, arrhythmia, extrasystole, atrial tachyarrhythmia). The medicine is used for hypertension, thyrotoxicosis, pheochromocytoma, coronary heart disease.

The necessary doses for treatment are prescribed by the doctor. Usually, in the form of a solution for injection, the drug is administered three to four times a day at 10 mg a quarter hour before meals. If the desired effect does not occur, these doses are gradually increased to 20 ... 40 mg.
For the treatment of arrhythmias, a dose of 10-30 mg is indicated according to the above scheme. With angina pectoris, 20 mg of the drug are taken four times four times during the first three days, and 40 mg three times the next three days. On the fourth day, 20 mg is prescribed, and from the seventh day the medicine is given four times 40 mg each.
