After graduating from high school, young Robertson enters Marlborough College, where, in addition to studying, he begins to get involved in sports. He attended five sections: boxing, golf, athletics, tennis, Greco-Roman wrestling. The young man is particularly interested in the latter kind.
Then Clive enters the business training school, which is located in Oxford, and thinks in the future to deal exclusively with sales. After successfully completed courses, Robertson Clive sets off on a trip to Africa. Upon returning, he realizes that he is not doing what he would like. During training at the London School of the Arts, Clive met a budding actress Libby Purvis, in 1999 the couple got married. After the actor was approved for the lead role in the television series Sunset Beach, his wife Libby moved to California to spend more time with her husband.
In early 2002, the couple announced that they had to leave, and after a couple of months they divorced. As a result of the marriage, Clive and Libby left two children: daughter Amelia and son Alexander, who were born in October 2002 and after their parents divorced, live with their mother in Australia.
The second time Clive Robertson married in September 2007. This time, his partner was Karin Antonini, who worked as a linguist. In the marriage, the couple had two sons: Cristiano (a boy was born in February 2010) and Nikolai (born in June 2012). The whole family lives in Los Angeles.
