A little less than 6 centuries ago, in 1454, in the small Czech town of Rakovnik, the largest breweries merged into one enterprise and built the Cernovar factory, which marked the beginning of a long and incredibly interesting history of the eponymous company, whose products are still in great demand throughout Europe and in Of Russia.
The unique history of Cernovar
In the Czech Republic there has always been a huge number of brewing enterprises. Many of them suffered losses and closed, and only Cernovar could successfully survive such a huge amount of time. But the Czech Republic is almost the center of Europe. The country went through different times and was a battlefield for many wars, including the most bloody ones: for the First and Second World War. And even so, the Rakovnik factory continued to produce Chernovar beer.
Incidentally, an interesting fact. Domestically, Chernovar beer is almost impossible to buy, because all manufactured products are exported.
Despite the fact that the company produces drinks of different varieties, two types of beer are most popular : Svetle - light and Cerne - dark.
Cernovar svetle
The first grade is a classic light beer in the style of a lager of golden color with a mild flavor, in which malt and hops are felt. The percentage of alcohol in it is 4.9. True, according to some tasters, Svetle gives too much cloying. And this, of course, should not be present in the light camp. Although such claims are sporadic and in general beer is quite appreciated.
Cernovar cere
But Cerne is already a classic dark lager. It has a very rich taste, complemented by notes of caramel and roasted malt. It has a thick foam that lasts a long time in comparison with the popular brands of Russian beer. Tasters note that beer is rather dense (according to the composition, its density is 11.5%) and has the very taste that a dark Czech lager should have.
In general, Czech beer, it has long been known, is considered one of the best in the world. And it is well deserved. Products are produced in small breweries using traditional brewing technologies. This is what allows Czech beer to retain its original taste and aroma.
Similarly, the Chernovar beer. It is not cooked on an industrial scale and retains almost the same consistency and preparation recipe as it did several centuries ago.
And precisely because of this, many people like the Chernovar beer. The reviews buyers leave are mostly positive. And this says a lot in the first place about the quality and taste of beer.
