So, when did Marlon Wayans get fame ? His filmography began back in school years. But this was not a surprise, considering where he studied. Marlon played a pedestrian in a comedy action movie shot by his older brother, Kenen Ivory Wayans, “I Will Get You, Bastard” (1988). And the next role of the con man Seymour Stewart got only four years later in the criminal comedy of Peter MacDonald's "Big Money" (1992).
Two years later, Marlon Wayans (Marlon Wayans), together with Tupac Shakur (who, it seems, was his close friend) and Dwayne Martin starred in the crime drama Jeff Pollack's "Over the Ring". Then he played a gangster and drug dealer named Lok Dog in the comedy film Do Not Threaten the South Central, Drinking Juice in Your Quarter, created in 1996 by American director Paris Barclay. And in the same year, he starred in another film of his brother - the black comedy "White Chicks", where he played one of the FBI agents appointed to protect the heirs of a large cruise company. Despite the fact that the picture received rather low ratings on the corresponding resources, box office receipts exceeded the budget spent several times.

Of course, the picture, based on the plots of “Paranormal Appearance” and “The Devil Inside,” received crushing reviews, as did the second part, released a year later. But is it really important when cash receipts are several times the amount spent on production?

Among the latest projects with the participation of Marlon, the crime comedy “Cops in Skirts” (2013) is noted, where Sandra Bullock played the main role. His work as a screenwriter and actor can be estimated by the comedy project “50 Shades of Black” (2016). Then he got the main role in the comedy film of the same director “Naked” (2017).
