A classic sauce is prepared in this way: soy sauce, spices, sugar, honey, water, wine and previously dissolved starch are mixed in a frying pan.

Usually, noodle sauce is prepared on the basis of soy sauce, cane (brown) sugar, Japanese rice wine called mirina or sake. But since Japanese alcoholic beverages are a rare commodity, it would be logical to replace them with dry or dessert wine, vermouth, sherry or wine vinegar (1 tablespoon is enough).

In the cooking process, teriyaki is added to potato / corn starch, garlic, honey, ginger, vegetable oil of your choice. Some recipes recommend adding chicken or vegetable stock, pineapple, pepper, orange, sesame, greens and various spices.

Step by step cooking noodle sauce

First you need to turn on the middle flame under a frying pan or stewpan. Then gradually pour and pour in the necessary ingredients.

First, pour 200 ml of soy sauce, add sugar, ginger, garlic, one tablespoon of wine vinegar, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to choose from, 4 teaspoons of honey.

We mix everything. Continuing to stir, make sure that sugar does not stick to the walls of the dishes. It remains to wait until the noodle sauce boils.

Next, stir 3 teaspoons of starch without a slide with 100 ml of water and mix. Thanks to these manipulations, you can get rid of lumps.

  • 3 tbsp. tablespoons of sesame;
  • 4 garlic cloves;

Next, add a couple of spoons of teriyaki sauce to the pan. Mix everything thoroughly, taste it. If there is not enough salt in the dish, add a spoonful of soy sauce, if the filling overlaps teriyaki, add two more tablespoons of soy sauce.

Sprinkle sesame seeds to your taste. Continue to fry until the noodles are cooked. Reduce the heat to medium.

Next, send the finished noodles to a colander and back to the pan, if the pan does not fit it. Pour pasta into the pan and mix thoroughly over low heat for several minutes.
