Tartlets with paste: variations on a theme

Whether it's a table for the New Year or another holiday, this dish will always look great, and it can be prepared with a variety of fillings. Regarding the baskets themselves: they, of course, can be prepared with your own hands.

But we will focus more on fillings in this article. The basis and in the supermarket can be purchased as a matter of fact, and the vast majority of housewives are going to host a whole crowd of guests. So, tartlets with pate: so be sure, this appetizer, made by yourself, will not leave anyone indifferent.

Ground Beef Pate Filling

To prepare it, we need:

  • a pound of ground beef;
  • pack of butter;
  • a spoonful of mustard powder;
  • some spices and salt;
  • a pair of pickled (or pickled) cucumbers;
  • sprigs of fresh greens - for decoration;
  • baskets of dough - to place the paste.

How to cook

  1. First, prepare the stuffing itself. By the way, you can do it yourself by passing pieces of fresh meat through a meat grinder. Consider the quick option: buy ready. Boil it for 10-15 minutes in boiling salted water.
  2. Put oil in a deep bowl. Beat it with a fork or whisk (or better, in a blender).
  3. We clean the onion. Cucumbers cut into pieces. And then we put onions with cucumbers in a blender. There is minced meat and butter, some spices. We turn on the device and bring the mass to homogeneity. That is, prepare the paste.
  4. Next, we move on to the final stage - the design of tartlets with pate. Spoon the mass into the baskets. Not too greedy: it should be laid with a slide. We decorate each basket with sprigs of greens, slices of pickles.
  5. We put it on a dish and serve.

Cheese paste with fish filling

This filling is done simply and quickly, and tartlets with pate look very appetizing and original. We will need:

  • grams of 300 cheese (it can be varied: processed, hard, and suluguni, for example);
  • half a glass of sour cream;
  • a spoonful of mustard;
  • salt and pepper;
  • slightly salted salmon - 150-200 grams;

  • fresh cucumbers - a couple of pieces.

We just cook

  1. Grate cheese. Then put it in a blender. Grind the cheese until smooth. Add mustard with sour cream to the blender. We mix. Salt a little, adding pepper. Mix again, and the cheese paste is ready.
  2. Fillet salmon or salmon thinly cut into plates or strips of small thickness.
  3. We carefully wash the cucumbers and cut them into strips (you can use rings or half rings).
  4. In the final, combine the ingredients in pre-prepared baskets. Put a piece of lettuce down. Top - cheese paste. Next - decorate with red fish with a slice of cucumber.

With liver

Tartlets with pate and egg is a tasty and fragrant dish. Especially if the main ingredient of the filling is the liver. We need to take:

  • fresh lettuce leaves;
  • tartlets-baskets;
  • liver paste;
  • with a dozen quail eggs (you can use chicken, but only cut beautifully);
  • cherry tomatoes;
  • bulb, feathers of green onions and sprigs of dill for decoration.

And for the preparation of the paste we need: a pound of chicken liver, carrots, butter, lean oil and spices to taste.

Cooking is easy!

  1. Chop onions finely. Wash and peel the carrots. Grate coarsely.
  2. We put the pan on the fire. When warmed up, put the butter there. Then spread the carrots with onions. Reduce the fire to a minimum, simmer for 7-8 minutes until soft.
  3. Pieces of liver thoroughly wash. Cut into pieces. Fry over low heat for 7-8 minutes.
  4. Place the liver with carrots and onions in a blender. Add a set of spices and mix until smooth. The paste for the filling is ready.
  5. Now prepare our decorations. Hard boiled eggs. Cherry tomatoes are thoroughly washed. Cut them in half.
  6. How to decorate tartlets with pate? First put a piece of lettuce in each basket. Fill with chicken liver paste. Insert the tomato and half of the quail egg (or a quarter of the usual). Decorate with a feather of green onions.
  7. We spread the tartlets on a wide dish, serve to the table and eat with pleasure!
