Catfish Recipe

Catfish is not in vain considered the most delicious fish. Her meat is tasty, tender and very juicy. True, they say that this fish is difficult to cook, but it does not seem to be true. Of course, the preparation of catfish has some features, but the same can be said of all other products, right? In fact, the recipe for catfish is not so complicated, so we’ll stop being afraid to spoil the fish and try to cook some dishes, not embarrassed in the experiments.

Catfish goes on sale already without a head and skin and gutted. It can be fresh or frozen, which, in principle, is almost the same, only frozen fish must be thawed before cooking.

The simplest recipe for catfish is quite accessible to all interested housewives, and not only with experience in cooking a variety of fish dishes. Fried catfish is an excellent fish dish, having prepared which even a novice cook can feel like a Great Master and a Master of Frying Pan and Pan.

So, the recipe for cooking catfish fried. The components of this dish are very few. This is a chilled catfish (a little more than half a kilogram), half a fresh lemon, a pinch of spices, a mixture of different peppers, grams of two hundred flour (one glass) and, of course, salt.

Now it is supposed to describe the preparation of catfish fried. The fillet must be cut into pieces - these will be ready-made portions. Now the pieces need to be marinated in the juice of the halves of our lemon, adding pepper, spices and salt. You need to marinate for about fifteen minutes. After this, pieces of fish need to be rolled in flour, put a frying pan with oil added on it over high heat and fry the fish on it until an appetizing brownish crust is formed - on both sides. After that, the fire is reduced, and the fish is fried for another five to seven minutes. Serve with any side dish. Complicated? Fried catfish is tasty despite the obvious ease of preparation.

But the recipe for our fish is more complicated, but no less tasty. As a matter of fact, the tender juicy meat of this fish, or rather, its taste, is very difficult to spoil by inept cooking, although absolutely inept hands are capable of this. Nevertheless, catfish in batter can be so tasty that some home-cooks think this dish is the MOST delicious of all possible fish dishes. Although - someone like that, the taste and its perception is always purely individual.

So, this catfish recipe requires a slightly larger number of ingredients. For a side dish you will need three tablespoons (no less) apple cider vinegar, a large spoonful of vegetable oil, a large spoonful of honey (a combination of fish and honey?), Chopped carrots (three hundred grams), a pod of sweet green pepper and salt.

The side dish is prepared as follows: first, in a bowl, beat the honey together with vegetable oil, vinegar and salt (salt needs a quarter of a large spoon), then pepper and carrot are added and everything is mixed. The salad side dish is ready.

Now the fish itself is in batter. In a non-stick pan, fry the bacon (four slices) over medium heat until a golden crust appears, remove the fried slices with a slotted spoon and leave for a short while to allow the fat to stack. On parchment paper, mix the corn (a third of a glass) and wheat (a large spoon) flour, ground red pepper (a little) and half a teaspoon of salt. In a bowl, beat the egg, dip in it, and then roll the portioned pieces of fish in the previously obtained flour mixture, which, by the way, need two hundred grams. Heat the fat left over from the bacon in a pan and fry the fish in it until an appetizing looking beautiful golden crust is obtained. Now you can get a catfish, put it on a plate and sprinkle with chopped fried bacon. Serve with previously prepared salad.
