The classic brownie recipe and options for complementing it

Brownie chocolate cakes have long been one of my favorite desserts. Many variants of this delicacy have appeared, but the basic set of ingredients is unchanged. So, the recipe for a classic brownie that allows you to cook 8 - 16 cakes (depending on size).

- 400 grams of dark, chopped chocolate ;

- 280 grams of butter;

- 350 grams of brown sugar;

- 6 eggs;

- 150 grams of plain flour.

If desired, you can add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and 1/8 teaspoon of sea salt.

This American pastry is prepared as follows:

- Add sugar, eggs and flour (and, optionally, vanillin and salt) in a bowl with chocolate mixture and mix well.

- Put the remaining chocolate into the mixture and pour everything into a baking sheet with high edges, slightly oiled (it is recommended to put parchment paper on the butter , and only then add the dough).

- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until tender. Then cool and cut into squares.

This recipe for a classic brownie is quite simple, and the finished dessert can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days. It is recommended that you do not use a non-stick baking sheet, as it absorbs heat very quickly, and the dough cooks faster on the sides. Baking will end up being dry on the sides and slightly baked in the center.

To make sure the dish is ready, insert a match or a toothpick in the center of the cake. If it comes out dry - the dough is no longer raw.
