In our country, a duck in the oven today is almost the most important component of the festive table, along with herring under a fur coat and an order of boring olivier.
Not a single Birthday or New Year, which is celebrated in the family circle, can do without such a beloved and very satisfying duck in the oven. And better yet stuffed with apples. Ingredients:
- the duck itself;
- half a kilogram of sweet and sour apples;
- 200 ml of sour cream;
- spices: ground black pepper, dried garlic and cinnamon;
- salt, in order to rub the duck;
- 20 grams of butter.
Cooking:
Everything is pretty simple! Check the carcass of the duck for the presence of small remaining feathers and spines, rub it with salt, spices and sour cream. Dice the apples, removing the core from them first. Start them with a duck, sew the cut from the bottom. Then lay the bird on a baking sheet so that the back is at the bottom. Place the baking sheet for two hours in the oven. Just remember to check the duck sometimes by piercing with a skewer.
