Salmon, without a doubt, is one of the most delicious types of fish, which also has a lot of useful properties. Salmon meat gives the body twice as many calories as the meat of ordinary white fish, it is easily digested and βsuppliesβ us with protein and phosphorus, calcium and iodine, sodium and magnesium, and other useful substances. Regular eating of this product helps to prevent a lot of diseases and even improve mood. Let's see what can be cooked from salmon.
Pancake cake with salmon (recipe number 1)
First, let's try to cook such a tasty and unusual dish as pancake cake with salmon. Fry 8 pieces of the same size pancakes according to the most common recipe (try not to abuse sugar). Slice a fish (its size depends on the size of the pancakes) cut into thin slices, also finely chop the salad. Put 1 pancake on a dish, anoint it with Viola cheese, fish on top and sprinkle with salad. Next, put another pancake and repeat the procedure. Thus, you get a cake that needs to be given a couple of hours to brew, and then you can eat.
Pancake cake with salmon (recipe number 2)
If you liked the pancake cake with salmon, then you can somewhat vary this recipe. For this cake you will need 10 pancakes and 300 g of salmon (preferably slightly salted). As in the previous recipe, put thinly cut pieces of fish on the pancake, and then pour the creamy sauce. When all the pancakes are folded, coat the sidewall with cream, and decorate with fish slices and herbs on top.
The sauce is prepared as follows: mix a pound of thick sour cream with 300 g of cream cheese and 1 bunch of finely chopped dill.
Salmon pie
The recipe for this nutritious and tasty dish is not so simple, however, it is worth trying, and you will get a very tasty lunch. First, prepare the filling. To do this, add 700 g of salmon fillet and pour boiling water, then put on fire and bring to a boil. Cool the fish and disassemble it into large pieces with your hands, removing all bones. Please note: fish do not need to be boiled, but only barely boiling, immediately remove from heat. 4 eggs finely chopped, boil 0.5 cups of rice (do not forget to salt the water, otherwise it will taste bad) and be sure to rinse in cold water. A bunch of dill finely chopped. Mix it all, add a little sour cream (1 spoon) and fish and, of course, salt and pepper.
We will take the finished dough - 2 packs. We roll out one part and put it on the bottom of the form, so that it is slightly larger than the form. Sprinkle it with a little starch and put the filling. We roll out the second part of the dough and put it on top. The edges of the lower and upper layers of the dough must be plucked. On top of the cake, we smear the egg yolk to make it rosy and beautiful, and bake in the oven.
Salmon Roll Recipe
This is a recipe for those who like hot rolls. First, cook 200 g of rice. To make it loosely, take only 250 ml of water, boil and cook over very low heat for 15 minutes, and then let it brew closed 15 minutes more. Mix 7 tsp. sugar with 1 large spoonful of rice (can be replaced with white wine) vinegar and 2 tablespoons of sea salt. Wait for the sugar to dissolve and pour the rice in this mixture. Try not to stir it, so as not to lose shape. Lay half a sheet of nori seaweed on the table with the smooth part down. Spread rice on it evenly (layer thickness - not more than 1 cm), leaving one edge empty to a width of 1.5 cm. Put a little Almette cheese (or other cottage cheese) on top and put thin slices of cucumber and bacon along the height of the sheet. (or cabonade). Then roll up the sheet as you roll up a regular roll, and you get a roll. If you really like salmon, then you can wrap it on top of a sheet of seaweed with thin layers of smoked fish.
We cut the roll into 8 parts and put in a dish designed for baking. Sprinkle each roll with grated cheese (hard) and grill (microwave) for 7 minutes.
