Youth
Ivan Demyan (“7B”) always dreamed of military service in the flight forces. To begin with, he went to the Severodonetsk vocational school, where, according to rumors, he was trained in helicopter driving. The information was incorrect: the institution trained welders and tinsmiths, and the guy had to master the basics of a difficult profession. He distinguished himself here: he refused to practice at the factory, bribed the foreman with Moldovan wine and did not attend classes at all. This time everything turned out to be much more serious: the future artist was sent to a psychiatric hospital for a freedom-loving character. Creative Ivan did not fit into Soviet reality too much.
However, he spent only 10 days in the hospital and learned a lot of interesting things. It turns out that in this medical institution there were more healthy people than patients, so the company was amusing. However, here the guy stood out from the crowd: most of his peers were “mowed” from the army, and he was eager for military service. He was soon discharged, having issued a certificate of form "7B". No one then could have imagined that this ridiculous wording in the future would become the name of a famous rock band.

According to legend, Ivan Demyan ("7B") became an artist by accident. Just once on the way home from work, he thought about his hard share. The guy opened his own car service, worked on car repairs, carefully paid taxes, tried to maintain good relations with government officials, but all the time got into trouble.
Suddenly his gloomy thoughts formed an original song. Ivan immediately got a guitar and by the evening he wrote his first musical masterpiece - the song “My Soul”. Over the next few days, the former car mechanic created an entire album. He immediately abandoned his business and put together his own group, Religion. It was a risky but justified step: the talented artist finally realized his mission.

The composition was successfully broadcast for a month on Our Radio, and its author found out about it quite by accident. Just once turned on the TV and heard in the program “Glance” the name of his own group. The producer of the radio station, Mikhail Kozyrev, reported live that the song of the young band “7B” has been spinning for a month now, and he has no way to contact its members.
