To maintain the intrigue, Eric Kripke did not indicate the real role at the casting, and actor Misha Collins auditioned as a demon. What was his surprise when he found out that he was to play an angel named Castiel! "Supernatural" is famous for its wonderful selection of actors, so this time the creators of the show did not fail. Amazing blue eyes, a little slender black hair, a distant look and a look “not of this world” - these characteristics of the American actor won over millions of fan hearts around the world. But the corporate image of an angel in the form of a light cloak with an invariable white shirt and a carelessly tied tie was taken from the comics about John Constantine.

Without the best friend and partner Dean Winchester, of heavenly origin, it is simply impossible to imagine the series “Supernatural”. When Castiel appears, any episode becomes atmospheric. He fills and complements the life of the Winchester brothers, and is an absolutely positive character, capable of incredible sacrifice. And this despite some of his mistakes and mistakes, especially in the sixth season, such as a deal with the demon Crowley or confidence in his own divinity. These moments were a turning point in the development of the personality of the rebellious angel, because Cas paid twice for any mistake. He tries not to burden Dean and Sam with his problems, tries to cope with them alone, which, however, most often leads to a worsening of the situation.
