Sweet pastries are a culinary term, which means a wide range of pastry from dough, which necessarily contains honey or sugar. This group includes muffins, cakes, pastries, biscuit rolls, cookies, berry or fruit pies and other goodies, the recipes of which will be presented in today's article.
Sour cream
This is a traditional Russian pie made on the basis of a liquid test, the consistency of which is very similar to biscuit. The classic recipe for sweet pastries on sour cream involves the use of certain components. Therefore, before you start the process, be sure to check whether you have at hand:
- 300 g of premium white wheat flour;
- 1 kg of fat sour cream (preferably village);
- 2 full cups of sugar;
- 3 large chicken eggs;
- 1 tsp baking soda;
- table vinegar and cocoa (optional);
- a handful of peeled walnuts.
This recipe for sweet pastries is extremely simple. Therefore, the process of reproducing it will not cause difficulties even for beginning confectioners. To begin with, beat the eggs with a mixer, gradually pouring a glass of sugar. In the resulting foam mass add 300 grams of sour cream, slaked with vinegar soda and twice sifted flour. All is thoroughly mixed and poured into a round greased form. Bake the sour cream for forty minutes at 180 degrees. The browned base is cooled on a wire rack and cut into two cakes. Each of them is greased with a cream, which is made from the remains of sour cream and sugar, laid on top of each other, sprinkled with sifted cocoa and crushed nuts.
Chocolate cream cake
The recipe for this sweet pastry was also invented by Russian culinary specialists. The cake made from it is an amazing combination of soft biscuit cakes and thick sour cream. To make such a dessert you will need:
- 300 ml of kefir;
- 500 g of fat sour cream;
- 250 g of baking white flour;
- 100 g of cocoa powder;
- 6 tbsp. l fine sugar;
- 1 tsp quick baking soda;
- perfect chicken egg;
- 50 g of oil;
- a bar of dark chocolate with a high cocoa content.
To begin with, a beaten egg is combined with a third of the available cocoa, half the total amount of sugar and all the sifted flour. The resulting mixture was supplemented with kefir, in which soda was previously dissolved, and poured into a round greased form. Bake a biscuit at 190 degrees for about half an hour. The cooled base is cut into cubes, laid out on a flat dish and poured with cream, which consists of sour cream, sugar and cocoa. Dessert is decorated with glaze made from melted chocolate and melted butter.
Grated pie
This popular and very simple sweet pastry is well-deserved by both large and small eaters. To prepare it you will need:
- 300 g of premium baking flour;
- 200 g quality margarine;
- 150 g of fine cane sugar;
- baking powder bag;
- perfect chicken egg;
- 40 ml of cold filtered water;
- vanillin;
- a glass of any berry jam.
The softened, but not liquid margarine is carefully ground with sugar, and then combined with the egg, baking powder and half the available flour. Vanillin and cold water are added to the resulting mass. All this is kneaded with the remaining flour, divided into three unequal parts and packaged in polyethylene. Two small pieces are cleaned in the freezer, a large - in the refrigerator. After forty minutes, the latter is distributed on the bottom of a rectangular shape and covered with berry jam. Top it all sprinkled with grated frozen dough. This sweet pastry is being prepared in the oven, heated to 180 degrees. Twenty-five minutes later, the browned cake is cooled, cut into square pieces and served with tea.
Cheesecake
This recipe for sweet pastries, a photo of which can be found below, was borrowed from American culinary specialists. To easily repeat it in your own kitchen, you will need:
- 300 g of purchased shortbread cookies;
- 150 g unsalted butter;
- 700 g creamy soft cheese;
- a glass of sugar;
- 150 g of 20% sour cream;
- 3 selected chicken eggs.
It is necessary to start the process with the preparation of the cake, which will become the basis for sweet pastries. To do this, crumbled cookies and melted butter are combined in one suitable container. All gently mix and distribute on the bottom of a round shape, not forgetting the low sides. On top evenly spread the filling, consisting of soft cheese, beaten eggs, sugar and sour cream. Cheesecake is baked for about an hour at 160 degrees.
Brownie
Fans of chocolate desserts should like another simple recipe for sweet pastries, a photo of which will be presented a little later. The cakes made on it have a characteristic brown tint and a pronounced aroma. To surprise your family with classic American brownies, you will need:
- 2 chocolate bars with a high cocoa content;
- 150 g of high-quality butter;
- 200 g of fine sugar;
- 100 g premium white wheat flour;
- 4 fresh chicken eggs;
- 1 tbsp. l cocoa powder;
- Β½ cup peeled walnuts;
- icing sugar and vanillin.
The butter and broken chocolate are melted in a water bath, slightly cooled and combined with cocoa, regular and vanilla sugar. All this is treated with a mixer, gradually adding eggs. The resulting mass is supplemented with oxygen-rich flour and crushed nuts, and then poured into a greased form and baked for a little more than twenty minutes at a moderate temperature. Ready dessert sprinkled with icing sugar and served with tea.
Chocolate Muffins
These miniature, melting in your mouth cupcakes are sure to appeal to those who love homemade sweet pastries. To treat your family and friends with chocolate muffins, you will need:
- 150 g of good creamy margarine;
- 150 g of fine sugar;
- 100 ml whole cow's milk;
- 5 tbsp. l cocoa powder;
- 2 raw chicken eggs;
- 2 tsp baking powder;
- 250 g of high-grade flour baking.
In a small deep saucepan combine milk, sugar, cocoa and margarine. All this is sent to the fire, brought to a boil and cooled. Raw eggs, sifted flour and baking powder are introduced into the chilled liquid. All is well mixed, laid out in silicone molds and placed in the oven. Muffins are baked for about twenty-five minutes at 180 degrees.
Croissants
This popular French sweet pastry made from puff pastry is equally loved by both adults and kids. It is prepared quite simply and quickly and, if desired, can be a great addition to family gatherings over a cup of hot tea. To make delicious croissants, you will need:
- 450 g yeast-free puff pastry.
- Chocolate bar.
- Lean oil.
Pre-thawed dough is rolled out in a rather thin layer and cut into identical triangles. On a wide part of each of them spread two slices of chocolate. The resulting workpieces are rolled up, placed in a greased baking sheet and baked for about thirty minutes at medium temperature.
Strudel
This Austrian sweet pastry made from puff pastry is known far beyond the borders of its homeland. To prepare it, you will need:
- 500 g of ripe sweet apples.
- 1 sheet of yeast-free puff pastry.
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon.
- 3 tbsp. l Sahara.
- 50 g of melted butter.
First of all, you need to do the purchase test. It is removed from the freezer in advance and left for a short time at room temperature. After some time, the thawed dough is rolled out with a not very thin layer and smeared with melted butter. Sliced ββapples mixed with cinnamon and sugar are placed on top. After that, the dough is rolled up and transferred to a greased baking sheet. Apple strudel is baked for no more than thirty minutes at standard temperature. The browned dessert is cooled on a wire rack and cut with a sharp knife.
