Victor Krivonos: biography, family, interesting facts, films and photos of the actor

There are people who, as from birth, are destined for one way or another. Sometimes it is just expensive in the dark, and the unfortunate wanders, lost somewhere in an unknown space and time, not finding himself in life.

And it also happens that clouds suddenly open, and a bright ray of sunlight illuminates the path of this chosen one. Yes, and leads him throughout his life.

Artist's childhood

Victor Krivonos was born on May 17, 1946 in post-war Lviv, almost only two years after his liberation from the Nazi invaders.

The time was harsh. Just during this period, in search of salvation from starvation, thousands of refugees arrived in the city and its environs every day, filling the forecourt and streets. Few residents of Lviv were able to help them. The country was just beginning to recover after a painful war. Everyone was starving. The streets of the centuries-old city wandered unhappy, half-dead people and begged for food. Many here also died.

Post-war surroundings of Lviv

So the world opened for the boy Viti.

His father worked on the railway. All the time I was lost at work and I was rarely at home, therefore my mother was mainly engaged in raising her son, a wonderful housewife and a skilled embroiderer of patterned Ukrainian scarves.

According to the memoirs of the artist himself, one of the brightest emotional upheavals of his childhood was the frequent flogging that his mother did in fear that her son would go in some wrong way. Only over the years did Victor realize that his mother was doing everything right. That's how boys are born - in order to explain to them once and for all what is good and what is bad, you need to act with the most effective methods.

The horrors of the consequences of the war, seen in childhood and the current mixture of Polish and Ukrainian blood that came from my parents, gave rise to a maximalist in everything in the future artist, who from an early age tried to not lose to anyone.

Youth

The country came to life. The hometown of Victor Krivonos was actively revived. Residential buildings, educational institutions and hospitals were built. Future industrial giants such as Lviv Bus Plant and Forklift Truck Plant, Tank Repair and Aircraft Repair Plants began their formation.

The city urgently needed working hands, and our hero immediately after graduating from high school for about a year worked as an auxiliary worker, first at the Lvovkhimselkhozmash production association, which produces machines and mechanisms for agriculture, and then at the Lviv Electric Lamp Plant.

While still at school, Victor realized that he wanted to become an actor. After an unsuccessful attempt to enter the theater university of the city of Kiev, he went to conquer the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography.

Youth

The biography of Victor Krivonos continued in Leningrad, where the impetuous young man, who at first was planning to connect his life with the dramatic direction of theatrical art, was sent by teachers to the musical comedy department due to his outstanding vocal abilities and bright appearance. At first, the young man refused, considering this genre not serious enough, but life put everything in its place.

After graduating from the theater institute, Victor in 1968 got a job at the Leningrad Theater of Musical Comedy, in which he played both classical and contemporary roles. However, the main role of the artist was the images of heroes-lovers.

Army

After graduating from the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography in 1970, unexpectedly for himself, a novice artist was called up for military service.

By that time, Victor had already managed to work in the theater for about three years and, serving the art, openly hoped that he would not serve his homeland. But during the draft commission, the young man caught an extremely principled major, and no matter how hard the personnel department of the Musical Comedy Theater tried to get at least his direction in the Leningrad Song and Dance Ensemble of the Soviet Army, the biography of actor Victor Krivonos was replenished with military service. He was sent to Moscow, to the internal troops.

The actor with a smile recalled that time:

When everyone was dressed in the same military uniform, I completely lost myself: “Where did the uniqueness of my personality go?” ...

Victor was used to the fact that training at a theater institute was aimed primarily at fostering the originality of each actor. Here, in the army, he, like everyone else, simply became operational and disappeared. What really tormented him at the first time of service.

However, soon everything changed when the leadership began to find out from the young fighters who arrived what talents or skills they had.

The soldier Krivonos sang and immediately went to the garrison House of Officers, where by and large he spent his service in constant performances.

VIA "Singing Guitars" (1974)

"Singing Guitars"

In the 70s, Viktor Krivonos became interested in pop and rock music, and in 1974 he became the lead singer of the VIA "Singing Guitars".

Once, after the next performance, he was introduced to a young Leningrad composer, Valery Arzumanov, who dreams of creating a real rock band in which Victor would be a vocalist. Of course, the music of the VIA "Singing Guitars" could not be considered rock in the form in which we all know it now. However, back in 1970, even such fresh trends were perceived as something bold and very daring.

Krivonos agreed. In rock, he, the operetta performer, of course, did not understand much, but after participating in "Singing Guitars" his passion for this music remained for his whole life. They played Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and The Beatles in the houses of culture, went to some obscure concerts. Then came popularity, fame and money.

Victor always speaks about his involvement in the VIA "Singing Guitars" with particular pleasure. As he himself said, it was a thrill. Although not for long - the unforgettable six months that gave Krivonos wonderful friendships with his participants and invaluable experience, useful in his further song and theater career.

Maturity

Passion for the theater still won. Not even a year had passed before he returned from the Singing Guitars. Then Victor again made an attempt to leave the Leningrad Theater of Musical Comedy, this time moving to the Moscow Operetta Theater in 1980. However, he returned from the capital in two years.

In 1982, Victor Krivonos's throwing ended. The artist donkey in Leningrad. In 1987, he continued his career as a singer in Lenconcert, performing in various operas as part of the chamber troupe, as well as in the pop genre, performing songs by famous Soviet composers in such music festivals and television projects as the once-popular Shire Krug and Song of the year".

In addition, Victor managed to combine a singing career with work in the Theater of Musical Comedy, while continuing to play in musical comedies and musicals.

As the artist then shared in his memoirs:

I worked hard, and that's good! Sometimes it’s nice to look at your writings and say: “It was not bad. It was almost good. "...

Movie

Soon, the whole country saw on television and recognized him as a young talented actor - Victor Krivonos.

And now, and at that time, not everyone went to the theater, and even more so to operetta. However, almost everyone had TV sets, and now the wave of Viktor Kino’s first popularity swept through the country after the television movie “Tobacco Captain” was released in 1972, a musical historical comedy that describes the era of Peter I.

Then, in 1976, an even greater triumph followed - the famous Truffaldino from Bergamo appeared on the screens, in which Victor extremely convincingly played the hot-tempered bridegroom Silvio. It was in his performance that this hero received genuine lively emotions - crazy eyes and lips extended into a pipe, expressive actions and children's touchiness. When working on the role of Silvio, Krivonos always remembered the instructions of one wise actor as an experience:

"Everything is fine, but you must remember that the counts and princes also went to the pot." Since then, playing the "tail heroes", I always tried to be a "living person", and not a narcissistic mannequin ...

There are not so many films by Viktor Krivonos, in which he was lucky to star, in only fourteen. However, for each role played in them, the actor is not ashamed. Even when he had to play classic and several decorative operetta characters, the artist always sought to fully reveal the image (in the photo - Victor Krivonos in the series "Stolypin ... Unlearned lessons").

His wife, Muscovite Tatyana, is an architect. For the sake of her husband, she’s ready for anything. She gives him strength, understands and was able to become for him not only the beloved woman and mother of their child, but also the most reliable and faithful friend. This is a wise woman who understands well what it means to be the wife of an actor.

They have been together for over forty years and cannot imagine their life without each other.

Today

Despite the fact that now he is already over seventy, Viktor Krivonos continues his active creative work. He is still as fast and impressive as he always was. It just became more gray hair and less hair, but all his indomitable energy is still with him.

Each of the previous heroes and heroines had different destinies and careers.

Victor himself considers himself a happy person. His happiness was that he understood early enough what he wanted from life, and rushed along this path, without doubting and not turning off.

Viktor Antonovich learned to gratefully accept everything that life gave him, being confident that everything in him had turned out exactly as it should have been.
