How to cook meat stew

Meat stew is a rather healthy and satisfying dish of Russian cuisine. Only a vegetarian can refuse it.

How to cook meat stew? The recipe is actually quite simple. You only need time (usually the stew is cooked for one and a half to two hours, but there are faster recipes) and the necessary products. There are many ways to prepare this dish, but which ones are the most?

I bring to your attention the recipe for meat stew "Eating ". So, pre-cook and place the following products on the table (it will be more convenient for you to work):

  • 1 kg of pork neck ;
  • 4 things. sweet bell pepper;
  • 4 eggplants;
  • 6 tomatoes;
  • a pound of cabbage;
  • 100 g of tomato paste;
  • 4 heads of onion turnips;
  • garlic, parsley, pepper, salt at your discretion.

Cooking:

Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of a five-liter pan and lay the vegetables in layers and pork meat in the strict sequence:

First, onions, sliced ​​in rings, then meat, sliced ​​into slices and pre-salted, peppered and seasoned with all kinds of spices. The next layer is again the onion rings, another layer is chopped sweet pepper (slightly salted in advance), then the tomatoes, sliced ​​in neat slices and slightly salted. We put eggplant (pepper, salted) into cubes, diced into tomatoes, put finely chopped parsley and garlic on top of all this, and make coarsely chopped cabbage with the top layer.

Pour it all over with tomato paste diluted in boiled water (the consistency should look like thick tomato juice). You can replace tomato paste with regular tomato juice.

We cover the pan with a plate suitable in diameter to the pan, and on top we put a three-liter jar full of water. We send to the stove, bring to a boil, reduce the fire and extinguish for one and a half to two hours (right with the plate at the top). If you put a jar filled with water on top, the vegetables will quickly drain the juice. After two hours, remove the prepared meat stew from the stove and serve to the table.

You can also cook meat stew with eggplant . Cooking it is even easier. You will need:

  • 3 eggplants;
  • a pound of veal;
  • a couple of bell peppers and a tomato;
  • onion head;
  • one carrot;
  • universal seasoning.

We cut the veal with cubes. We clean eggplants from seeds and skins and cut into strips. Cut the pepper into strips. Three carrots; cut tomatoes and onions first into four parts, and then cut into slices. Fry the meat a little, sprinkle it with seasoning. Add all the vegetables at once and fry for another ten minutes. After another 10 minutes, fill everything with water and simmer for half an hour. Everything is so fast and tasty! Serve such eggplant and meat stew with spaghetti for a side dish.

And another recipe for meat stew. Let's call it "Traditional." Take:

  • 1 kg of pork meat;
  • 0.5 kg of pork liver;
  • 2 cups tomato sauce;
  • 2 cups boiled water;
  • 2 potatoes;
  • 2 carrots;
  • 1 onion;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • Bay leaf;
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar;
  • pepper and salt to taste;
  • vegetable oil.

Pour the vegetable oil into a large pan. Spread finely chopped garlic and onions. Cut the pork into pieces and put it in a pan (on top of onion and garlic). Fry until pork turns pink. As soon as the pork meat turns pink, add the pork liver. Season it all with pepper and salt. We fry for about twenty minutes, stirring constantly. We throw a lavrushka and pour meat in tomato sauce. Add water immediately and bring to a boil. Cook over low heat for about 20 minutes or a little less (if the sauce is slightly thickened, then that's enough). Add potatoes and carrots. Cook until the vegetables soften. Our meat stew is ready.
