Sushi rice is sold in almost all supermarkets. True, it costs an order of magnitude higher. Therefore, you can save by preparing a special rice yourself.

To do this, take round-grain or, as it is also called, Krasnodar rice. We take a glass of cereal and carefully rinse it with cold water about eight times until the liquid becomes completely clear.

Pour rice into a spacious pan and fill it with water in a ratio of one to one and a half - that is, a glass of cereal needs one and a half glasses of water. We put the dishes on a high fire, and when the water boils, cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 15-20 minutes, do not open the lid in any case. When the rice is ready, remove it from the heat and leave it for another ten minutes - steam in a saucepan. It is not necessary to stir the croup during cooking, as well as open the lid, otherwise everything will be spoiled. Only after the pot has been removed from the heat and the rice has stood, can the cover be removed.

While rice is cooked and infused, you need to prepare a special dressing. To do this, pour 50 milliliters of rice vinegar, half a teaspoon of salt and half a tablespoon of sugar into a stewpan. We put all this on a low heat and stir until sugar and salt dissolve, after that we remove the dressing from the fire and let it cool. Then pour the dressing into rice and mix with a wooden spatula so as not to damage the grains. When rice reaches room temperature, rolls can be sculpted from it.

Rolls with bacon are made in the same way as all other swirling sushi. To do this, put a cling film on a bamboo mat. After this, the nori sheet is laid with the rough side up and spread the rice evenly. It is not necessary to press the croup too much. After this, turn the sheet of rice with the cereal down. We spread the Philadelphia cheese and sliced ​​avocado (or cucumber) into thin slices a little further from the edge of the long strip. We turn everything into a roll using the mat, and when it is ready, put strips of bacon on the mat, put the resulting sausage on it and also turn it so that the bacon β€œhugs” the roll along its entire length. Cut into 6-8 pieces and serve.
