As the cousin of the sports TV presenter explained, the family has European roots, presumably German. The ancestors of Natalia Clark during the reign of Catherine II moved to Russia. These were not the best times for Russian hockey, it was not possible to adequately hold the game. In this same period, there were rumors about her affair with one of the national team's head coaches - Igor Zakharkin, who, incidentally, is a married man, and even almost twice as old as Natalia.
According to rumors, it was thanks to his efforts that the young journalist got this job. But after the disclosure of the "dark affairs" of the couple, their dismissal followed. And interestingly, the Russian hockey team again became the world champion.
