Bone fractures are conditions characterized by a violation of the integrity of their tissues. Rarely, when fractures are congenital, they are more often acquired as a result of severe trauma. Congenital bone fracture is most often the result of negative heredity, which affected the strength of bone tissue. Acquired fractures are the result of such an effect on the tissue, in which the acting mechanical force exceeds the strength of the bone. Most often, this effect is simultaneous, but very strong, which immediately gives a bone fracture. This effect is called traumatic, its examples are a gunshot wound that killed a bone, a fall - accelerated or from a fairly high height. A pathological fracture can occur due to the fact that a certain painful condition significantly reduced the strength of the tissue. Such a fracture of bones can happen sometimes even with small influences of mechanical force - for example, if a person abruptly rests his hand on something, or even involuntarily, for example, in a dream. The cause of this pathology is different diseases that destroy bones - ostomyelitis, some tumors and endocrine diseases.
Bone fractures are not only damage to their structure, but also a violation of the integrity of the soft tissues that cover them. Muscles, nerves and vessels located nearby can also be injured, especially in children. According to the shape of the fracture line, fractures are oblique, transverse and longitudinal. Bone fractures can be simple if the bone was broken into two parts, comminuted, if several pieces of bone tissue separated in the area of ββthe injury, fragmented if there are a lot of these fragments, and incomplete if the resulting crack did not give a complete fracture. If a complete fracture of the bones happens, then their broken parts usually diverge in different directions. Without such a displacement, it occurs only in children. Incomplete bone fractures are also much more common at an early age. Some of these injuries are often affected by older people, as the tissues of their body become decrepit, lose their strength. Often bones are broken from bones.
Pelvic fractures are severe injuries. They cause severe shock, blood loss and other complications, justified by the importance of this part of the body. The victim experiences severe pain, which may result in a shock condition. The pelvis is a support both for the skeleton and for the entire human body. It connects the trunk to the limbs. Part of the pelvis is a receptacle for some internal organs. As a rule, pelvic fractures occur as a result of accidents - accidents, collapses of buildings, the consequence of which is the flattening of the pelvic bones. This compression may be lateral or anteroposterior.
Pelvic fractures can be both stable and unstable. When unstable, they can shift to the side due to the influence of any loads on them, even the most insignificant ones - for example, when moving, turning the body and other similar ones. In a word, the integrity of the design of the pelvis is violated, as a result of which the instability of its links appears - they can, for example, change their position when moving the body. Moreover, their fragments can also change position, which is sometimes fraught with damage to some internal organs - for example, the bladder, lower intestine.
For this reason, if the patient has fractures of the pelvic bones, it must be transported to traumatology with extreme caution, fixing the position of the body of the victim. Its awkward movement sets the fragments in motion. If the patient is conscious, this is accompanied by his moans and constant complaints of pain. An exact diagnosis is made by a traumatologist by examining an X-ray and tomography results.
