They lay a lot of eggs per day (up to one million), which then enter the intestines and hatch naturally. If the larva has not found a carrier, it dies two days after it hatched. Animals, as a rule, become infected by eating grass, and humans through water.

Hepatic fluke: signs of a parasite

Staying in a forest in nature or in a village, always boil water obtained from any sources (unboiled water should not be drunk even from a tap), since the likelihood of a hepatic flukes entering your body through it is very high. It is also recommended that you always fry meat and fish well. Avoid contact with wild animals, as well as livestock.

Elementary hand washing, which from time to time is forgotten not only by children, but even by adults, is also a preventive measure.
