Gourmet dessert, lunch for the baby or a diet dish? Today we will talk about how to cook sweet soups.
Fragrant ear, tender chicken noodles and rich borsch are most often associated with the word “soup”. Replace vegetables with fruits or berries, broth with light yogurt or cream, and meat with chocolate. Such a dish will certainly delight adults and children!
On hot days
Let's start with the menu for kids. Fruit soup is a great way to introduce new foods to your baby. At an earlier age, it is worth choosing the ingredients carefully so as not to look for a food allergy remedy in pharmacies later.
Many mothers begin to notice a decrease in appetite in babies with the onset of sultry summer days. Pediatricians recommend preparing lighter foods for children and not waiting for empty plates. However, no active peanut will refuse such a delicacy as fruit soup with rice. In the absence of fresh ingredients, dried fruits are also perfect, so we will present two options for the dish.
Rice + Fresh Fruits
In summer and autumn, boldly go to the nearest market for fruit or in your own garden.
To make soup with rice on jelly you will need:
- 2 liters of water;
- 1 kg of fresh fruit (pears, apples, grapes, cherries, apricots, cherries or peaches);
- 50 g of sugar;
- 3 tbsp. l starch;
- fig.
If you are preparing baby soup, pay special attention to the processing of all components. Berries and fruits must be thoroughly washed and removed all the twigs and seeds, and then cut into small pieces.
In a pot of boiling water, we dip the ingredients and cook for 10-15 minutes. This method of preparation will help not lose all the vitamins. We breed starch in a small amount of water and add it to the soup. The fluid must be poured in a thin stream and at the same time stirred to avoid lumps. Rice is cooked separately.
When serving, pour a little rice in a plate and pour the soup. You can decorate the dish with a mountain of whipped cream or offer a little gourmet biscuit.
From dried fruit
You can easily make fruit soup in winter and spring, even before seasonal fruits appear. To do this, you just need to make stocks in the summer or buy the necessary dried fruits in the store.
Ingredients:
- 2.5 liters of water;
- 500 g of dried fruits (raisins, figs, apples, dried apricots, pear);
- starch - 3 tbsp. l .;
- 2 tbsp. l Sahara.
Dried fruits should be thoroughly washed, chopped if necessary. As in the previous recipe, boil water and only then fall asleep dried fruits. Cooking time is 30 minutes. At the last stage, add the diluted starch and wait for the thickening.
This recipe is reminiscent of the kitchen in kindergarten, where dried fruits are often used.
In addition to rice, sweet soups can be supplemented with semolina dumplings, pasta, oatmeal and crackers. Thus, it turns out quite a satisfying dish, which is suitable not only as a snack, but also for a full meal.
For the smallest
As you know, the first lure begins with porridge and one-component mashed potatoes. During this period, the baby has many new experiences. Fruit puree soup is one of the most common dishes for fastidious peanuts under the age of one year.
Ingredients:
- an Apple;
- three apricots;
- egg;
- 1 tbsp. l Sahara;
- 100 ml of children's yogurt (liquid, without additives) or dairy mix;
- 100 ml of water;
- semolina - 1 tbsp. l
First stage . Wash and peel the sweet fruit thoroughly, then cut into small pieces. We spread apricots and apples in a pan, pour cold water and cook for about 15 minutes. Soft apple slices will tell us about readiness.
Second stage . We take only the yolk from the boiled egg, knead with a fork. We wait until the fruits have cooled slightly, and grind them with a blender. Add sugar, mix everything again.
The third stage . We put the pan on the stove and fall asleep semolina. Without stopping stirring, we cook the fruit soup for five minutes. At the end, add the yolk and yogurt, then again, mix everything thoroughly.
“Milkshake” on a plate
When there is unbearable heat outside the window, baby fruit soup is best served cold. Our next recipe belongs to the category of “whip up”, because its preparation will take a few minutes.
Ingredients:
- low-fat kefir or drinking yogurt without additives - 200 ml;
- 2 tbsp. l lemon juice;
- ripe banana;
- honey - 1 tsp;
- fruits or berries with juicy pulp.
Using a blender, mix banana and kefir (natural yogurt). Add honey and lemon juice, beat well again. Pour cold soup into a plate and decorate with sliced fruits, berries and favorite cereal from ready-made breakfasts.
The child will certainly be interested in multi-colored ingredients, and mom will not worry about an empty stomach, because such a soup is quite satisfying and healthy.
For sweet tooth
Depending on the amount of sugar, fruit soup can easily be attributed to diet foods. However, our next recipe is for those who do not deny themselves sweets.
It will take you about thirty minutes to make a great chocolate grapefruit soup.
Ingredients:
- dark chocolate - 150 g;
- grapefruit;
- 1 tbsp. l Sahara;
- ground cinnamon and cocoa powder;
- cream - 100 ml (fat content 22%).
From grapefruit we need only the flesh, so thoroughly wash and remove the thick peel and all the films.
Melt small pieces of chocolate in a water bath. Heat the cream separately and add to the chocolate saucepan with sugar. Stir the soup until all the components are completely combined and pour into a plate. In the middle, lay the flesh of grapefruit and sprinkle with a mixture of cocoa and cinnamon.
Serve chocolate soup immediately after cooking.
