During the treatment of diseases that are weighed down by a fungal infection, you must additionally use antifungal drugs.

Before using the drug, you need to thoroughly clean the area of the anus, and in order to achieve the greatest effect, it is recommended to use the drug immediately after defecation. During drug therapy, patients experience fairly rapid relief, and in some cases even the complete disappearance of all symptoms of the disease. Despite this, treatment must be continued for another seven days in order to avoid a possible relapse in the future. After the symptoms disappear, the frequency of use of the drug can be reduced. Doctors do not recommend continuous use of the drug for more than one month.
A suppository medicine is administered one suppository per day. As an exception, on the first day of treatment in the presence of acute inflammation, up to three suppositories can be used so that relief comes more quickly. If suppositories become soft under the influence of heat, it is recommended to put them in cold water so that they harden again. There is also an Ultraproct ointment. Instructions for its use are quite simple. The drug is used twice a day. On the first day, you can increase the number of applications to four. Before using the ointment, you need to carefully wash your hands, then squeeze a small amount of the ointment and rub it with your finger into the anus, while the finger should be slightly inserted into the anus. If there is a need to apply the ointment inside the rectum, you need to attach a special tip to the tube.

The medicine is well tolerated and due to the fact that the doses of fluocortopone are quite small, almost no negative side effects, which are usually characteristic of glucocorticosteroids.
