In an informal and not particularly ceremonial setting, serving a salad on a common table is highly acceptable. Make sure that each guest has a place where this salad can be put - in most cases, this is a dinner plate, the size of which allows you to place both the main dish and the snack. With a particularly magnificent feast, it will be appropriate to set the table so that each guest has a separate salad plate or bowl.

Perhaps, all winter celebrations, and first of all, the celebration of the New Year, cannot do without such famous salads as herring under a fur coat and olivier.
