Initially, we will consider how to cook curd envelopes with sugar in the simplest way. Recipe No. 1 provides for the use of the following products:

  • Cottage cheese (with preference given to foods with a fat content of about 5-9%) - 400 g.
  • Butter - 200 g will be enough
  • Sugar - about 150 g for dough, for toppings - to taste.
  • Baking powder - no more than 2 tsp.
  • Flour - about 300-350 g.

Now that all the necessary products are available, you should proceed directly to the preparation of envelopes. To begin with, in a separate bowl, grind the butter and sugar. Then cottage cheese should be added to the resulting mass. All ingredients must be mixed thoroughly. Then, in turn, the baking powder is added first, and only then flour is added in small portions to the rest of the products, while previously sifted. It is better to leave the resulting dough in the cold for half an hour. Then it should be rolled out, but not very thin (the thickness should be about 3-5 mm). Next, the layer must be cut into squares, the sides of which are 8 cm. Sugar is added to the center of each piece to taste.

Now the matter remains small - you need to craft from the squares of the envelope. To do this, the corners of the pieces should be connected in the center. Recipe number 2: another form

You can try to cook other curd envelopes with sugar. The recipe will be similar to the previous, basic, but there will be its own characteristics. The list of required products is as follows:

  • Cottage cheese (choose a medium-fat product better) - about 500 g.
  • Margarine - no more than 250 g.
  • 2 cups of flour.
  • Sugar - about 3-4 tbsp. l
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp.

Initially, let's do margarine. It should be grated on a coarse grater and left for a short time in the heat. While the margarine softens, combine the flour with the baking powder and add the cottage cheese crushed with a fork into it. Now you can combine the resulting mass with margarine. Knead the dough until it is no longer sticky. Now, to make it even more elastic when cooking, let it remain for an hour in the cold. After this time, the dough should be rolled out and squeezed out of it circles, while quite voluminous. Sugar can be placed at the center of each piece.

Now you need to make envelopes according to a new technique. To do this, the circles fold in half 2 times, and their semicircular edge is pinched with fingers. It remains only to send envelopes to the oven for baking for 20 minutes, after having previously coated them with yolk for shine.

Recipe number 3: alternative

You can make curd envelopes with sugar in another way. The recipe can be used at the choice of any of the above. Only the dough should be rolled out in a big circle. Then it is cut into 8 equal parts, and each of these pieces is slightly cut from a narrow in a wide edge 3 more times. On the untouched part of the pieces, sugar is laid out to taste.
