Ingredients for making dough:
- Flour - five hundred grams.
- Kefir (preferably fatter) - a glass.
- Sugar - one glass.
- Eggs - two pieces.
- Margarine - one pack.
- Lean oil without aroma - ten milliliters.
- Baking powder - one sachet.
- Do not forget to add a pinch of salt - it gives the baking a more pleasant taste.
- Peanuts are a handful. If there is no peanut, then without it you will also get tasty kefir on kefir in the oven.
How to cook
A pack of margarine should already be slightly soft. To do this, you need to remove it from the refrigerator, at least an hour, or even two, before starting the dough.
If you use nuts in biscuits, prepare them also beforehand. To do this, you need to rinse the nuts and dip in excess moisture with any clean towel (kitchen or paper). Pour nuts into a hot frying pan and fry them in a low heat. Peel nuts dried in this way from dark outer husks. This is easily done by hand. Cooking
A step-by-step recipe for kefir on kefir in the oven:
- Grind the butter (which melted slightly, two hours outside the refrigerator) with sugar and a pinch of salt.
- Protein and yolk split. Protein is needed for making dough. The yolk is needed to grease the pastries before placing them in the oven.
- Mix the butter, sugar, protein vigorously and add to them the whole norm of honey and kefir. Cover the whole poppy. Now mix the components of the dough again.
- The time came for the introduction of flour and baking powder. Sift the flour through a sieve, so it will gain the best qualities, baking will rise more beautifully. At the same time, sift the powder with the flour and knead the dough. The dough should not be very dense, but elastic - something like a cookie. Give the finished dough "rest" in the refrigerator for about five minutes and now proceed to the formation of shortcakes.
- Chop the cutting surface with a little flour. Once again, mix a little dough and roll it into one large layer. If the dimensions of the cutting table do not allow you to roll out all the dough at once, you can divide it into two equal halves.
- The thickness of the resulting layer will become the thickness of the finished product. Note that the powder will slightly raise the cakes and their volume will increase. You should not make very thin blanks, if you do not want to get products that look more like biscuits instead of crusts. The optimum can be called the thickness of the rolled dough about a centimeter. Someone prefers more magnificent cakes and makes blanks of two centimeters.
