You can use mayonnaise, sour cream and tomatoes in the recipe. It is recommended to add your favorite spices, and if you flavor the dish with a generous portion of cheese, such a culinary masterpiece will not be equal! A potato with a fillet cooked in the oven will become indispensable, especially when there is little time and there are many who want to eat. But as you know, it is better to try once than to try to imagine the taste of any dish for a long time. Therefore, we proceed to the most important thing - we will cook and taste it.

Let's look in the refrigerator and in all the places where the products we need can be hidden. If something is not in stock, we run to the store and quickly buy everything you need. And now, when all the products are collected, we begin the magic of cooking.

To cook potatoes with fillet in the oven, you will need:

  • 7-10 tubers of the required root crop;
  • chicken fillet - at least 600 grams;
  • three juicy onions (we prefer medium sizes);
  • sour cream product (or mayonnaise) - 200-250 grams;
  • cheese - at least 150 grams;
  • salt to taste;
  • various herbs and seasonings - according to your preference.

You can add a few cloves of garlic. The final amount depends purely on the preferences of the eaters. If you really like fragrant, spicy dishes, then take up to five cloves. If you are not an ardent fan of garlic - stop at one or two.

Product Preparation

We wash the potato tubers from the soil and clean from inedible elements. We wash the root crops again in clean, cold water. We cut each tuber into slices (circles). Can be cut into halves: divide the circles into two parts. This method seems to many more preferable. Leave in a deep bowl filled with water.

Rinse the chicken fillet and then cut according to your own preferences: thin plates or small cubes.

We clean the bulbs, saving them from the husk and the lower part (where the roots grow). Shred the vegetable in half rings or quarters. Do not like heat-treated onions, cut them smaller, then it will become more invisible. And if you prefer onions in all forms, do not be shy, shred in circles (rings).

Garlic: peel and pass through the press.

Grind hard cheese using a grater of any fraction. If you like when the cheese is baked evenly, then choose a surface with small holes, otherwise take a larger grater.

When the products are prepared, we proceed to fill out the form that you have chosen to translate the recipe into reality. It is advisable to take moderately deep dishes. Too thin dishes will burn your masterpiece, and very high walls of the baking dish will not give the taste that is expected.

If your dish or cooking utensil does not have a non-stick coating (sometimes it happens), cover it with foil, then you will not run into the problem of removing food from the pan.

Meanwhile, we will grease the dishes very generously with odorless lean oil.

  1. The first to go are the pieces (or strips) of chicken fillet. Level the meat on the bottom of the dishes. Salt according to your taste preferences, and also sprinkle with ground pepper.
  2. We put onion half rings (or pieces) on the meat. Also smooth this layer so that the vegetable evenly covers the meat ingredient.
  3. The dish will turn out more juicy if at this stage a small amount of water is added to the dishes.
  4. Now put all the potatoes on the onion. We equalize her. Salt this layer and pepper again (not much).
  5. We put garlic on the prepared potato layer if you chopped it with a knife. If the garlic was crushed through a press, add a little later.
  6. We fill all the potatoes with cheese shavings and trim them to make the dish not only tasty, but also neat.
  7. We mix the sour cream product with garlic, squeezed through a special press. Evenly distribute aromatic sour cream over the entire cheese surface.
  8. When the chicken, potatoes and cheese were placed in the dishes, the oven already has a temperature of 200 degrees. We send the form into the oven for 40 minutes. Before removing it from the oven, it is recommended to check the degree of readiness with a toothpick to avoid unpleasant surprises.
