Each mistress on the eve of a festive feast often wonders how to surprise guests. I want the dish to be exquisite, tasty and at the same time, everyone else just cooked. Today we suggest you try to cook a cake-salad "Valentine". Believe me, he really deserves to be at your holiday table.
Ingredients
Itβs not at all difficult to make Valentina salad, the recipe of which will be presented to your attention below. To do this, check if your kitchen has the necessary ingredients. So, we need:
- whole breast of grilled chicken;
- onions - 2 pieces of medium size;
- mayonnaise for salad dressing (to taste, but it is better to take less greasy);
- carrots - 2 pieces of medium size (if large, one is enough);
- chicken eggs - 3 pcs;
- sunflower oil (for frying onions) - 2 tbsp. spoons.
- walnut - 3 pcs.
- cheese - 100 g.
- canned pineapples - 100 g.
Preparation for cooking
So, when all the ingredients are collected, we can begin to prepare them:
- Since the chicken breast is ready, it only needs to be cut into small pieces.
- Two onions must be cut into cubes and fry until golden brown.
- Boil the carrots until tender. Cool, then grind with a grater.
- Cook eggs for 5-7 minutes in salted water. Cool. Grind with a coarse grater.
- Grind the cheese with a coarse grater.
- Pineapples cut with a knife.
- We chop the nuts into small pieces.
Lay out the salad in layers
When all the products are prepared, you can proceed to the most responsible occupation - laying out the Valentina salad:
- Mix chopped chicken breast with fried and pre-cooled onions. Season the mixture with mayonnaise and put on a flat plate. The first layer of our salad is ready.
- Then you need to mix carrots with eggs. Season with mayonnaise. This is the second layer.
- The third layer of Valentina salad will be grated cheese with chopped pineapples. All this should also be seasoned with mayonnaise.
