The future singer was born in 1978 in the city of Sverdlovsk. From childhood, Julia Chicherina showed interest in music. Especially the girl loved to sing on matinees in kindergarten. Julia was never accepted into the children's choir, stating that she had "no data." Therefore, for some time, the girl was intensely engaged in drawing. However, interest in music took its toll, and Chicherina began to independently learn to play the guitar, as well as percussion.
When it came time to choose a profession, Julia did not immediately decide to enter the department of pop vocal: she tried to get into the faculty of art, but failed, and then studied for a year as a librarian. But for the eccentric Julia, library work was a rather boring task. She left the institute, prepared well and finally entered the music school.

In 1997, the Chicherina group was born, which, in addition to Julia, included such musicians as Alexander Bury, Azat Mukhametov and Alexander Alexandrov. Then Julia Chicherina (photo presented in the article) composed her first hit “Tu-lu-la”. At first, the group performed in small clubs and rock festivals in Western Siberia. Then the time came for more decisive steps, and Chicherina sent a cassette with her notes to the director of Our Radio. The song went on air. The Chicherina group instantly became famous throughout Russia.
Soon, Real Records offers the musicians a contract. They agree to its terms and in full force move to Moscow. The producer of their album, which was scheduled for release in 2000, is the leader of the rock band Agatha Christie. So Yulia Chicherina began a new life.
Musical success
Julia Chicherina released her first album, as planned, in 2000. It was called "Dreams." Director Timur Bekmambetov, then little-known director in Russia, was invited to shoot the first two clips . Work on the video was successfully completed, and by the end of the same year, the Tu-lu-la and Zhara clips appeared on the Muz-TV channel.
From that moment, the Chicherina group entered a new stage of its development and set off on a big tour around the country. The guys became regular participants in many music festivals, including the rock festival "Invasion".
In parallel with the recording of the new album, Julia Chicherina, together with the group "Bi-2", released an absolute hit - the song "My Rock and Roll".
Over the 15 years of its existence, the group has released 7 studio albums. The compositions of Yulia Chicherina sound in popular domestic and foreign films. For example, Tu-lu-la became the soundtrack for the Russian action movie Brother-2 and the Spanish melodrama Room in Rome. And the song “Doctors” was performed in the sensational film Guy Germanicus “A Short Course in a Happy Life”.

Julia Chicherina, whose photo often appears on the pages of newspapers and magazines, has appeared in films several times.
For the first time, Timur Bekmambetov invited her to his film. It was a historical picture of the Gladiatrix. In it, Chicherina played the role of the gladiator-slave Deidra.
According to the singer herself, she got the role of “crazy”, because for the filming the girl had to shave her head. Moreover, Chicherina then managed not only to cope with her role, but also to record the soundtrack to the film. Then she performed at the premiere of the picture “Gladiatrix” with her group.
A year later, Julia appeared in the series of Alexander Buravsky "Ice Age". The film narrated about the activities of a special unit at the MUR to combat banditry. Personal life
Julia Chicherina, whose personal life since 2000 is under close attention of fans, in 1999 gave birth to a daughter Maya from Alexander Bury. Alexander was a bass player in the Chicherin group for a long time, but after breaking up with Julia, he left the band.
