6 years after the deafening premiere of the 1st season of the television series "Sword", a coveted sequel appears on the screens of compatriots. The release date of the series "Sword" is familiar to every fan - November 16, 2009. The premiere of the second season was held on June 15, 2015. The director was made, as before, by Alexei Lukanev. The scriptwriter Ilya Kulikov, during the break between the seasons, managed to take part in rather extraordinary domestic projects such as Insomnia, Game, Mine, Chernobyl, worked in a creative union with Vasily Vnukov and Julia Baeva. It is pleasant that the scriptwriters were not afraid to experiment, do not look back at such foreign projects, therefore their offspring compares favorably with the one-time bored movie trash, which is daily treated by the Russian television viewer. The new actors of “Sword 2” worked perfectly together with experienced participants, organically interwoven into the creative atmosphere.
A few words about the first season
In the first season, the viewer had a great opportunity to observe the fruitful work of the punitive organized crime group, accompanied by a complex psychological component. In the process of narration, some heroes could not cope with their aggravating psycho-emotional state, while others barely kept themselves on the endless abyss of madness. In the culmination of the series, when due to several errors by SK, data about many participants become known - the heroes seem to walk along the blade of a knife, keeping the viewer in an ever-increasing tension. The final chord turned out great, everyone becomes clear - such pictures cannot end with a happy end. The film “Sword” (season 2) made the screenwriters enviable show ingenuity, because it started from the moment in which the viewer parted with the heroes.
The plot (briefly)
The protagonist Maxim Kalinin, having been seriously wounded, miraculously escapes persecution, and at this time the “decapitated” cell of the people's avengers temporarily remains incapacitated. Season Two. First impression
A noteworthy feature of the 1st season was that for all 25 episodes, no story was repeated: fake ATC, seizing a television studio, chasing an elusive and inexorable killer - each episode was unique. The film “Sword” (season 2) looks no less interesting, but can’t boast of such a daring. At certain moments, there is a catastrophic lack of drive; the understatement of some situations is embarrassing. But this is more than offset by a tougher plot and ongoing changes in the characters' characters. An undoubted plus is the comeback of Mr. X, which definitely adds dynamics and sharpness. It remains to be hoped that further the narrative will develop progressively. Opponents of organized crime groups somewhat spoil the impression. In the first season, they at least deserved respect - a strong "Hydra" with Colonel Komin, vice-mayor of Stroginsk Dadashev, General Muratov and others. The villains played by the actors of “Sword 2” look too small and pale in comparison with them. Although the new confrontation with the experienced, cynical FSB colonel Sintsov (Andrei Kurilov) and Tatyana Demina, who was under his hypnotic influence, may make fans of the series worry.

Tatyana Demina (Nina Gogaeva) - the rarest bitch in love with Maxim Kalinin (Eduard Flerov). The girl is able to forgive the chosen one a lot, but not actively participate in the punishing organized crime group, which she unsuccessfully tries to detect and destroy.
In the first season, Anton Karev (Timur Efremenkov) was especially unbalanced in his psyche, now Kalinin has found such problems, yet the bloody craft does not go unnoticed. For unknown reasons, he kills the innocent ex-leader of the White Arrow, FSB general. In addition, he creates several pseudo-swords. Those. no longer leads a double, but a triple life. Now the FSB officers have to defeat both the second group and the third, and the first will be able to hide? The scriptwriters so famously twisted the plot that "Mine" just nervously smokes on the sidelines.
Dmitry Chizhov (Vladislav Pavlov) is not far behind his leader, he also has problems with the psyche, but very soon he will organize and head his punishing group.
Elena Zhurova (Daria Poverennova) again begins to take strange drugs, claiming that she can do without them at any time.
Actors of “Sword 2”, who performed the roles of new members of the group, are not inferior in skill to the participants of the 1st season. Major of the Organized Crime Control Department of Viktor Yegorov was played by Alexander Fisenko, the cast of the new season will also be replenished by Maxim Schegolev, who will play the role of “Winnie the Pooh”, a colleague of Bones and Max.
It is difficult to disagree with the statement that the series “Sword 2. The Limit” is a worthy project produced in the Russian Federation. In its finale, the creators will surprise the competent multi-way with a hint of the third season. Fans can only hope and wait for the sake of such viewing pleasure and 6 years is not a pity.
