In the good old days, when goose feathers were used for writing, which had to be dipped in ink, putting a blot on paper was easy. It was necessary to gape a little, not to completely shake off the pen or just to jerk a hand gently, and the letter was spoiled. There was a huge blot on it, saying that the work would have to be rewritten again. Now people write with a pen, perhaps, enthusiastic about rarity, in order to penetrate the atmosphere of the past.

In Soviet times, fountain pens appeared that needed to be refilled with ink on their own. Confusion with blots occurred less frequently, but were not completely eliminated. Fountain pens, like their predecessors, continued to spoil the writings, forcing them to redo, rewrite, and tear out damaged sheets. Then you should dip a clean brush in plain water and, without shaking it, hold it on a sheet of paper pre-decorated.
