Menopause? Find out the symptoms right now!

At the age of about 51, women stop the menstrual cycle. This period in medical terminology is called menopause and is an integral step in the aging of every woman. The age of menopause can vary from 40 to 55 years. Women endure menstruation in different ways: someone does not notice any changes in the body at all, others, on the contrary, feel quite uncomfortable and can hardly endure the period of menopause.

What are the reasons for such a significant change in the body of a woman? Of course, this is due to the amount of estrogen produced by the ovaries, the hormone necessary for the normal course of menstruation and pregnancy. Starting from the age of 35, the amount of estrogen in the body decreases every year until the woman completely loses fertility and her menstrual cycle stops. Changes in estrogen levels affect not only the cessation of menstruation, but also the heart, bones, skin, hair and the genitourinary tract.

The first signs of menopause are irregular cycles, as well as dryness in the vagina, problems with the genitourinary system and hot flashes.

Any woman during menopause begins to experience some discomfort, as the cycle becomes irregular, the intensity of the discharge varies.

Most women are worried about hot flashes during menopause. Symptoms of this kind are not so scary, but they often affect sleep. The fact is that a tide is usually called a sensation in which heat waves build up first in the chest, gradually spreading to the neck, face and hands. Each tide is markedly different by profuse sweating, especially during sleep at night. The duration of the tide is not long, on average 3 minutes, but the frequency of their occurrence occurs approximately every hour.

Another symptom of menopause is vaginal dryness, which is caused by a decreased level of estrogen in the body. Due to its lack, the walls of the vagina begin to secrete less secret, which, in turn, leads to a loss of elasticity and severe dryness. During the period when menopause occurs , symptoms of this kind strongly affect sexual life, as a woman begins to experience pain and discomfort during sex due to a dry and inelastic vagina.

A decreased estrogen level not only affects dryness on the walls of the vagina, but also leads to problems with urination, as a result of which the muscle tone of the urogenital tract is greatly reduced.

Menopause, the symptoms of which, as we have found, have various hormonal abnormalities, affects not only the internal changes of the body, but also greatly affects appetite, mood and sleep, as a result of which the woman begins to feel tired, nervous, and this leads to a decrease in working capacity and depression .

To reduce the level of discomfort during menopause, a woman, first of all, must adhere to a simple healthy diet. The daily diet should contain a large amount of fruits, vegetables, dairy products and cereals. Do not abuse foods that are high in fat. Exclude alcohol and caffeine, spicy seasonings. An active lifestyle (exercise, walking) will reduce the discomfort from hot flashes and will be an excellent prevention of osteoporosis, which also becomes a threat after menopause. With severe discomfort, it is possible to replace the hormone estrogen with any contraceptive containing it in order to alleviate the symptoms.

In general, during the period when menopause will occur, its symptoms may not bother you much. If you visit a doctor on time and follow his advice, then you will soon return to your usual and familiar life.
