The recipe for the Crimean yantik is very easy. For cooking you will need products:

  1. Drinking water - 100 ml (may need more, depending on the type of flour).

  2. Flour - 600 g.

  3. Minced meat - 600 g.

We proceed to cooking.

Yantyk: a step by step recipe

1. Kneading the dough is quite simple. First, flour is sifted into a separate container, then it is salted to taste and the required amount of water is poured to make an elastic dough that does not stick to your hands. Wrap the dough in a cling film and put in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, prepare the minced meat. Tatars use lamb, but if it is not, then you can take pork. Beef is not suitable, as juicy toppings will not work. You can take several varieties of meat, then the dish will be even tastier. So, grind lamb and onion in a meat grinder.

Add salt, black pepper and other spices that your household prefers, as well as pour more greens (it must be finely chopped beforehand). Stuff the minced meat thoroughly and add a little water to it for juiciness.

3. Next, you need to get the dough out of the refrigerator, separate a small piece from it and roll it thinly with a rolling pin.

4. We heat the pan without vegetable oil. Then we spread our finished cheburek on it. The fire should be small so that the cakes do not burn. Fry on one side until golden brown, then turn the yantyk and fry on the other side.

Finely chop the greens, and squeeze the garlic with garlic gum. Now we mix cheese, herbs and garlic in one container. The filling is ready.

We take out the dough from the refrigerator, tear off a slice from it and roll out a thin cake, into which we put the filling in the center. Cover with a second thin cake on top and glue the edges. Fry the yantyk on both sides until golden brown in a dry frying pan.

Add cottage cheese

The ideal filling is obtained not only with cheese, but also with cottage cheese. To prepare a tender and juicy yantik, take home-made cottage cheese, add sugar to taste and beat with a blender to obtain cheese mass. Squeeze it well through cheesecloth or rub through a sieve to remove excess fluid.

If you don’t want a sweet yantik, then you can add garlic or just greens instead of sugar. Stir the filling thoroughly, and you can sculpt the whiskey.

Yantyk with fish

This is a unique dish for seafood lovers. We suggest you cook the fish filling. Of course, a very tasty dish will turn out if you add the fillet of red fish. However, such a recipe is not affordable for everyone. Therefore, you can take the fillet of any other fish. The main thing is that there are no seeds.

Grind the fish fillet through a meat grinder, and add onion and garlic to taste there. You can also put greens and any spices in your mince as you wish. As you can see, the recipe for the Crimean yantik with fish is very easy and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Cooking features

The dough on ordinary drinking water is not as elastic as you want. If you add mineral (sparkling water) or 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil, then the dough will turn out softer, more beautiful and tender.

To prevent the yantik from breaking up during frying, it is necessary to glue the edges of the cakes well. To do this, grease the edges with an egg, and then fasten them.

Yantyk can be cooked in the oven. The recipe is the same, but pasties are not laid out on a pan, but on a baking sheet.
