Even novice home cooks will cope with the task. There are several variations of the recipe: salmon, baked in foil, with cheese, with vegetables, steak. We will talk about them in our article today. But first, a little about the fish itself
Salmo salar, a noble salmon, lives in the Atlantic Ocean and at the time of spawning goes along the rivers of the European part. And linguistic scholars argue that salmon is its name, which turned into Russian from the Finnish language. Atlantic salmon, both visually and in taste, is practically no different from ordinary salmon. The range of salmon is very extensive. It spreads along the northern part in the Atlantic Ocean, along the western - the Arctic. And in the Russian Federation it reaches the rivers of the Murmansk coast, the White, Baltic seas. Fish feeding is usually carried out at sea, and the main sources of food are schooling fish and shrimp. And salmon is cultivated artificially.

Today, noble salmon is supplied to shops and restaurants mainly from the Faroe Islands, which are located between Iceland and Scotland. The documents indicate Atlantic Salmon, i.e. Atlantic salmon. And already the seller decides independently what to write on the price tags: salmon or salmon. By the way, there are opinions that unscrupulous producers tint the pulp with something, but the characteristic color of the salmon fillet depends on feeding: the more shrimp, the more intense it is.

A delicious 4-component honey sauce with garlic provides the dish an additional golden and crispy, caramelized crust. Baked salmon in foil can be cooked in less than 20 minutes. So simple, and only 4 components take part in the recipe.
Ingredients
We need salmon fillet - about a kilogram, a couple of good spoons of natural honey, a few cloves of garlic and olive oil. Well, food foil and optional spices for fish are still needed (but you can and without them, it will turn out incredibly tasty anyway). Fish should be cut in portions. And under it prepare pieces of foil in which it will be baked.
Simple cooking!
- This recipe for baked salmon is not very difficult. First, mix honey, crushed garlic and olive oil (you can add a little "fish" spices - just do not overdo it so that it does not clog the taste). Bring the mixture to homogeneity (you can whisk with a whisk, or you can use a hand blender).
- Dip the fillet in the sauce and place each piece on a separate sheet (folded better twice). If the filet is with skin, then with it down. We form designs in the form of small boats with an open top. If the sauce remains, then you can also drip on top of each so as not to disappear. But try not to leak over the top.
- We place the boats on a baking sheet and put it in the oven, previously heated to 180. We bake for a short time - 15-20 minutes. During this time, the flesh of the baked salmon is covered with a pleasant golden crust.

And also: some olive oil for lubrication, a classic set of spices for fish, fresh lemon. You can use other, complementary to the dish ingredients, for example, vegetables. But it is optional. How to cook
- We cut the food foil according to the size of the steaks with a fairly decent margin so that the fish can be properly wrapped. A little secret: for each of the pieces, 2 layers of foil should be used - just in case, so that the juice does not flow directly into the fire.
- Marinated with spices, place the flesh portioned in pieces of foil, previously greased with olive oil. Cut the lemon into slices and put on the fish. You can immediately use fresh herbs, for example, dill.
- We wrap the steaks, but without extremism, carefully so that the foil does not break through.
- If you have a grill, then let the coals burn well until a stable heat is formed. We spread the resulting structures on the grill and fry for 15-20 minutes. As a rule, during this time, salmon baked in foil on the grill is already completely ready. Carefully unfold the foil and enjoy the beautiful and delicate salmon cooked in natural conditions.
- If you cook at home, then preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, put the salmon parcels inside on a baking sheet and place it in the oven. How much to bake salmon steak in the oven? We do not cook for long: about 15-20 minutes (during this time the fish, especially if it is pre-marinated, it turns out juicy and soft). You can check by expanding one of the structures. Just act carefully so that the juice does not leak!
With vegetables
Baked salmon with vegetables is an excellent and healthy dish, which can please homemade ones. And do it with maximum benefit. Indeed, in this form, both fish and field gifts will retain all their natural qualities and taste. And vitamins with trace elements will be delivered to the body in the most complete combination and integrity. In this recipe we will again use the fillet (buying it at the supermarket today will not be difficult, there would be funds). What is applicable as vegetables? Recommended mix: a few potatoes, onions, carrots. You can take cauliflower, if you wish, but then the vegetable must first be boiled until half ready. Of the additions are lemon and boneless olives (green). And you can proceed.

- First we clean and wash all the vegetables. Cut potatoes and carrots into rings. Onions - half rings. If you decide to use cabbage (cauliflower, broccoli) in the recipe, then you must first boil it for 10-15 minutes so that it is not too hard then, but, on the contrary, it turns out to be soft and soft.
- Take a baking dish and grease it with a small amount of olive oil. In this regard, the spray jar “works” perfectly, since we do not need to get too much fat at the outlet.
- Next, we put the vegetables in the form (it is possible in layers, but it can also be mixed). And already on this pillow - pre-pickled fish (you can fillet, you can steak, as you please).
- Top off the whole structure with lemon slices and olives.
- Pour the future casserole with garlic-honey sauce. It is simple to cook: take a small amount of crushed garlic, a few tablespoons of honey, a spoonful of lean oil. We mix everything until smooth. You can add, for example, a mixture of Italian herbs. But here the most important thing is not to overdo it and not to hammer in the aroma of fish and vegetables.
- Place the form with the ingredients in the oven, preheating it to 180 degrees Celsius. Bake until cooked (but not more than half an hour). An appetizing crust should form on top, and potatoes with carrots should be freely pierced with a fork.

We’ll reveal the culinary secret of a crispy golden crust on a dish. It's all about cheese! We present to your attention a variation of the last recipe with the participation of this ingredient. We leave all the steps as in the above cooking, but we use grated hard cheese (any one, not necessarily parmesan, is suitable, but make sure that it is without vegetable additives). And we do it in the final cooking. Grams of 150 grated product coarsely and sprinkled on top in shape with almost ready-made ingredients. After that, we cook for some more time until the cheese melts and a golden crust forms. To speed up the process of its formation, you can turn on the "grill" mode, if any, in your stove.
