Not everyone likes savory, savory-tasting snacks. To cook lecho without vinegar, you can use one of the following recipes. We offer two options.
Lecho vinegar recipe
For this blank you will need the following products :
- sweet pepper (preferably multi-colored) - 5 kg;
- red tomatoes - 2.5 kg;
- ripe carrots - 1 kg;
- onions - 1 kg;
- table salt - 2 tbsp. l .;
- granulated sugar - 9 tbsp. l .;
- vegetable oil (sunflower) - 300 ml.
Step-by-step technology for cooking lecho without vinegar
- Peel the onions. Then chop it not too large. Peel the carrots with a knife or peeler. Rub the vegetable on a coarse grater.
- Fry the onions in vegetable oil, then add the carrots and stew the ingredients until soft.
- Prepare the tomatoes while frying vegetables. Peel them off. To do this, make cross-shaped incisions at the top of the fruit and dip them in boiling water for 30 seconds. This will make it easy to peel the tomatoes from the skin. After this, grind the tomatoes in a meat grinder or use a food processor or a blender.
- Pour the tomato puree into the fried vegetables. Stew for 20 minutes over medium heat.
- Prepare bell peppers. The fruits need to be washed, remove the stalk and seeds, while cutting the pepper into two equal parts (if desired, you can make smaller pieces).
- Chopped pepper put in a pan, top with a mass of vegetables and tomato puree. Season with salt and pepper to taste. You can put the indicated amount of salt and sugar or change the proportions according to your culinary preferences. Hot peppers can add hot red pepper and garlic.
- Stew vegetables on fire for half an hour. Readiness is determined by the softness of pepper. While lecho without vinegar is cooked, prepare containers in which the snack will be packaged. Cans (it is better to use a small volume, for example, 800 grams or 1 liter), wash and sterilize over steam. Boil the lids. In the cooled containers, place the hot lecho and seal with prepared lids.
- Put the container with the snack upside down to cool. Cover with a blanket. After the jars have completely cooled, store them in a dark, cool place. Lecho without vinegar is served as an independent dish. It can also be added to soups and vegetable dishes. Enjoy your meal!
Lecho for the winter without vinegar
To prepare you will need the ingredients :
- about 3 kg of fresh ripe tomatoes;
- head of fresh garlic;
- a glass (about 200 g) of sugar;
- a large spoon of salt.
Cooking technology
Wash and chop the tomatoes into pieces of any shape. Remove the stalk and seeds from the pepper, cut the vegetable into thin strips. Garlic can be cut into 2-3 parts or simply chopped with a knife. Place the ingredients in a cooking pot, mix, put on medium heat. Cook 10 minutes after boiling the mass. Then put sugar and salt. Stew vegetables for about half an hour. Pack the lecho in jars, seal with sterilized lids and place under the blanket for cooling. A delicious appetizer without vinegar is ready. Enjoy your meal!
