The future writer was born in Kherson in a family of Russian and Ukrainian. From childhood, Boris showed a craving for art. Most of all, the boy was attracted to music. It is for this reason that Evseev tried to play various instruments (guitar, piano, drums). However, the boy liked the violin most of all, which he had been playing since he was six years old. In 1971, Boris Evseev graduated from the Kherson School of Music, which at that time was considered quite a prestigious institution.

After that, the young talent moves to Moscow. There, Boris enters the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music (RAM).

During the training, Boris Timofeevich met with George Kunitsyn, who taught aesthetics in Gnesinka. The famous literary critic and philosopher inspired Evseev. It is for this reason that Boris makes a test of the pen. The young man wrote a short story that narrated about a man shooting prisoners in prison. In the same year, Evseev wrote a letter in defense of the famous Russian playwright and writer Solzhenitsyn.

In 1978, thanks to the help of friends, a two-volume book of Yevseyev's early work was published in Samizdat.

The writer worked in a local orchestra as a musician. Nevertheless, Evseev did not forget about his passion for literature. He continued to write short stories. Among other things, Boris Evseev was awarded an armful of various titles and titles. For example, the writer is a full member of the Union of Russian Writers, the Union of Writers of Moscow, the Executive Committee of the Russian PEN Club. In addition, Evseev is known as the founder of the Union of Russian Writers, chairman of the jury of the Russian Chekhov Gift, Literary Prize named after Yuri Rytkheu, and the All-Russian Prize named after Vadim Vasilievich Passek.
