David Gvinianidze was born in December 1977 in Kutaisi, in a family not related to art (mother is a doctor, father is an academician). He showed early abilities for singing, so his parents decided to send his son to music school, although they hoped that the boy would follow in their footsteps with age.
In the mid-90s, David entered the Tbilisi Academy of Music. Already in the second year of this university, the young man got a job on Georgian television, where he broadcast the weekly tenor program “Tenor”. She was dedicated to classical music, composers, opera stars and performances. The television project was so liked by the audience that after several broadcasts, one of the international cable television channels acquired the rights to broadcast it.
In addition, a year later, David Gvinianidze was invited as a soloist to the State Opera and Ballet Theater of Batumi, where he performed for 2 seasons.
Carier start
After graduation, David Gvinianidze was invited to work in the UK, at the English Newport Opera House. Similar offers came from a number of other European cities. However, the young talented baritone rejected all these proposals and in 2000 went to Moscow. In the Russian capital, he successfully overcame two rounds of auditions and was enrolled in the troupe of the Novaya Opera Theater as a soloist.
Success

Further career
At the beginning of 2003, at the invitation of the management of the capital's Helikon-Opera, David Gvinianidze became his soloist and worked there until 2010. The Talents of the World Foundation, which is led by David Gvinianidze, is also involved in educational activities.
