  2. Peeled walnuts must be washed. Dry them first with a paper towel, then lightly calcinate in a dry frying pan or in the oven so that they become more brittle, but not stiff. Now you need to chop the nuts. This can be done with an ordinary knife: chop them finely on a kitchen board. You can use the kitchen pestle.
