“Pretty Little Liars” (actors and roles, plot) - this is something completely unique, uncomplicated and fresh in its own way. You should not compare this project with the sensational “soap” under the well-known name “Gossips”. This movie series is intriguing, excites the imagination, you want to watch it without being distracted, the interest of the viewer does not weaken for a minute.
Great Alliance
The atmosphere of the film "Pretty Little Liars" is amazing and attractive. 1 episode of a dramatic detective thriller, barely exiting the air, excited thousands of minds of viewers, conquering thousands of hearts. The creative team of directors Norman Buckley, Ron Lagomarsino and Chad Lowe, in conjunction with project writers A. Marlin King, Sarah Shepard, Maya Goldsmith, demonstrated her professionalism and skill, presenting a truly brilliant basic idea, creepy, chilling scenes and elaborate dialogues. The latter, by the way, were immediately taken away by fans. The musical accompaniment as a whole and the individual soundtracks for the most part are excellent, as is the work of the operators, and all such important components that perfectly complement the overall picture. As a result, the efforts of the like-minded team received well-deserved recognition: the soap opera itself with the detective bias “Pretty Little Liars”, the actors and roles along with it, skyrocketed upward in the popularity tabloids.
Secrets bring us together
The storyline of the film is very unpredictable. Mystical inexplicable messages, shameful “dirty linen”, muddy tricks and “skeletons in the closet” pulled to the surface - can it really be much more interesting? Each episode is fascinating in its own way. The series "Pretty Little Liars" tells the story of the life of four girls - Aria, Emily, Spencer and Hannah, whose maiden friendship abruptly ceases after the tragic disappearance of their common friend - Alison. And now, a year after her disappearance, the police discover her remains, and all ex-girlfriends begin to receive strange messages from the anonymous author who called himself with one capital letter - “A” (we recall that the girlfriend who disappeared without a trace was called Alison). This person, as it turned out, knows all their personal secrets, especially accurately he conveys information known to the deceased Alison. Every day tormenting heroines with SMS messages, he threatens to defame his girlfriends by revealing their secrets, exposing "dirty linen" for all to see. And here the movie "Pretty Little Liars" (release date June 8, 2010) begins to rapidly gain momentum.
Actors and characters
Like most modern series, this one presented a wonderful cast to the audience. Most actors and actresses are new and unfamiliar to the audience. Almost all the pretty little liars (actors and roles nonetheless do not cause any special complaints) do not have an impressive experience in filming in the cinema. However, without exception, all the leading actors are incredibly attractive, sometimes it seems that they have come off the covers of glossy magazines, all are very beautiful: Ashley Benson, Shay Mitchell, Lucy Hale, Laura Leighton, Troyan Bellisario, Bianca Lawson, Holly Mary Combs and Nia People.
Characteristics of the main characters
- Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale) is a girl who has a relationship with an English teacher. Stupid, effective and beautiful, has its own individual style. She tried to save her family by hiding her father’s romance from her mother and brother, but A tried to do this too.
- Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell) is the obedient and almost exemplary daughter of her beloved parents, a beautiful swimmer. Over time, she will have to understand and accept her unconventional orientation. So there will be plenty of spicy moments.
- Hannah Maryn (Ashley Benson) - the most beautiful girl and a recognized star of the school, in the recent past, the eerie "Fat Hannah." However, after the disappearance of a friend, she is working hard on her appearance, struggling with the problem of excess weight and achieving success. Straightforward, often rushing from one extreme to another.
- Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) - smart, stunningly beautiful, purposeful. Likes to take away the older sister's boys and keep their parents energized.
- Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Peters) is a charismatic bitch, soul and leader of the company. It disappears after a night outing, its remains are found a year later.
Minor Characters
For a successful and victorious march on the screens in the television movie “Pretty Little Liars”, the actors and roles (all character types) were selected by the creators with special attention and thoroughness. Even minor characters and their performers quite organically supplement the overall picture: Torrey Devito (character Melissa is Spencer's own sister), Janel Perrish (nasty Mon Monka) and Tammin Sursok (mysterious and incomprehensible Jena). Plus a nice bonus for all true Charmed fans - the role of the deceived mother of Aria is played by Holly Mary Combs (the very adored Piper by everyone).
Not without a fly in the ointment
In general, the series “Pretty Little Liars” is a wonderful youth television project. It will surely appeal to admirers and fans of such television projects as “Gossips”, “Sherlock” and even the provocative “Desperate Housewives”. Naturally, like any commercial project, this series has some depressing shortcomings. The first episodes of the TV movie “Pretty Little Liars” (the actors and the roles they performed are remembered right away) are addictive, fascinating and intriguing, but later, unfortunately, the traditional television “chewing gum” begins in the third and fourth season.
