Classic French Meat Recipe

In order to surprise guests, it is not necessary to cook extraordinary dishes consisting of a huge amount of ingredients. After all, they can be fed a simple and satisfying meat dish in French. Regardless of which meat was taken for cooking (chicken or pork), with strict adherence to the French meat recipe, it will turn out to be incredibly tasty and nutritious in any case.

Today there are several basic recipes on how to cook french meat :

The last recipe is most popular - meat in French with potatoes. It is considered to be classic.

Preparation of ingredients for cooking

First you need to select the freshest piece of meat and cut it across the draper. Thanks to this, it will be easy to survive and, if necessary, cut into several pieces in your plate.

It is important to remember that the processing and preparation of a semi-thawed piece of meat will make the dish completely tasteless.

The thickness of the meat for cooking should be no more than two centimeters. The piece itself should not be too small. Moreover, it should be recaptured from all sides. After the meat becomes soft, it is rubbed with salt and spices.

First you need to take care of the presence of pickled onions, which is included in the recipe for cooking meat in French, as one of one of the essential ingredients. In order to prepare the marinade, it is necessary to pour boiled cooled water into a container, add a bite, salt and pepper to taste. The resulting marinade will add the onion cut into rings.

In order for the onion, as it should, to soak in the marinade prepared on the basis of vinegar, it will take at least forty minutes. Onions should taste sweet and sour.

You will also need cheese for cooking. About a hundred and fifty grams of grated cheese will be enough to sprinkle on top the meat in French with potatoes.

The method of cooking meat in French

  1. Pieces of meat are laid out on a greased baking sheet.
  2. Then the pickled onions are laid, from which the whole marinade was previously drained.
  3. Then comes a layer of potato, previously cut into thin slices.
  4. Potatoes are sprinkled on top with spices to taste (for example, it may be a mixture of Provence herbs).
  5. Finely grated cheese is placed on the potatoes.
  6. A grid of mayonnaise is drawn on top of the cheese.

The meat must be baked until fully cooked at a temperature of 180 degrees.

In order to make the meat even more flavorful, it must be fried in vegetable oil in a pan before spreading on a baking sheet.
