Most recently, they had to painfully cope with rolling machines, but now there are threaded cans in our arsenal, and supermarkets are full of offers of lids of various brands for such banks.
How to roll cans with screw caps? Easy! It does not require special knowledge and skills. You need to fill the contents in the jar, put on the lid and tightly scroll it through the threads. And thatโs it!

Pickled crisps
You will need:
- Jar with thread - 1.5 liter.
- Small fresh cucumbers (fine Phoenix variety) - 2 kg.
- Garlic with large cloves - 1 head.
- Lavrushka - 2 pcs.
- Bell pepper - 1 pc.
- Allspice - 5 balls.
- Cilantro seeds (coriander) - 1 tsp
- Table or apple cider vinegar for preservation 2 tbsp.
- Common food salt - 2 tbsp.
- Beet or cane sugar - 1 tbsp.
Cooking
Pour spices into the jar at the bottom - bay leaf, peas, cilantro. Peel the garlic, wash and put on the bottom of the can. Next, we lay the cucumbers very tightly and closely together. Cut the pepper in half lengthwise and place between the cucumbers.
Pour vegetables in a jar with boiling water. Cover and let stand for 15-17 minutes. After this, pour the water into a saucepan and bring to a boil again. Pour boiling water back into the jar, add salt and sugar, add vinegar. Take the lid and tighten the thread tightly.
We lay the jar upside down and cover it with a warm blanket. It will be possible to take out in a day. And it is advisable to open it not earlier than in a couple of weeks.
Strawberry jam
What should be prepared:
- Selected strawberries - 1 kg.
- Sugar (sand) - better than cane - 1 kg.
- 0.5 l glass jars with a twisting lid - 3 pcs.
Cooking
In the evening, we fill the strawberries in a non-stick bowl with sugar and let it stand for the night. In the morning we put the bowl on medium heat and bring to a boil. After 3 minutes of boiling over medium heat (do not forget to stir), turn off and postpone the continuation of manipulations until the evening.
In the evening, set it on fire again and simmer for 3 minutes. Turn off and leave until the morning.
In the morning we carry out the boiling procedure for the third final time and pour the boiled jam into the banks.

Ingredients:
- Soft peaches - 2 kg.

Peaches must be thoroughly washed and halved, taking out the stone. Drain and fill the jar with them.
If there is a bit of empty space, itโs not scary. The syrup will be no less delicious.
A jar of peaches should be poured with boiling water to the neck and let it stand for 15-17 minutes under an unsealed lid. After this, the water must be drained and brought back to a boil.
Sprinkle scalded peaches with sugar and citric acid. Pour boiling water again and tighten the lid. Banks to turn over, wrap and store in a warm place in this position for at least a day.
