per kilogram of watermelon crusts 1.2 kilograms of sugar, half a lemon and a teaspoon of baking soda.

With these products, you need to do simple steps:

  1. Cut hard green peel from the crusts and cut the remaining mass into pieces.
  2. Dilute soda in a liter of water and leave prepared foods overnight in this solution.
  3. The next day, rinse the slices, put in a pan, pour them with Β½ part sugar and warm for 15 minutes over low heat.
  4. After this, set the mixture aside for 8 hours, tightly wrapping the pan.
  5. Repeat the heating process 3 times.
  6. At the last stage, add lemon juice along with sugar.

Ready marmalade of watermelon peels can only be folded into jars and sent for storage, tightly closed with lids.

Those who like to experiment can be advised to try another option. It is not quite ordinary, but rather interesting. It will take a little more components:

in addition to a kilogram of watermelon peels - Β½ lemon, 3 pounds of granulated sugar, a liter of water and another teaspoon of cinnamon, soda and cardamom, as well as half a teaspoon of a special mixture for making desserts.

Cooking method:

  1. First, in the usual way to free the raw materials from the peel.
  2. Grind the rest and pour soda solution for 4 hours.
  3. After this, rinse the products, add water, pour 600 grams of sugar and set to heat for 20 minutes.
  4. Cool the mixture and let it stand for 5 hours.
  5. Repeat all actions again.
  6. Heat the mass for the last time, and then put in it a lemon, cut into arbitrary pieces, and the rest of the spices.

600 grams of sugar, Β½ liter of water and 1 kilogram of peels of a regular watermelon.

Then everything must be done as follows:

  1. Peel the remaining after eating watermelon, free from hard skin. For work, you only need its white part, which must be cut into strips or cubes. Fold the products in a pan or basin.
  2. From the rest of the products according to the recipe, boil the syrup and pour them with prepared raw materials.
  3. Place the container on fire, bring to a boil slowly and heat for 6-7 minutes.
  4. After that, cool and leave in this position for 7 hours.
  5. Repeat the procedure three times at regular intervals.

Marmalade becomes almost transparent, like pieces of amber. Now you can eat it, but you should remember that it will not be stored for a long time.

1 kilogram of sugar, watermelon peels and grapefruit, half a kilogram of oranges, a teaspoon of cinnamon and half a glass of lemon juice.

Sequencing:

  1. Free citruses from pits and peels.
  2. Cut the light part of the watermelon peels into small pieces.
  3. Combine the products together, put in a blender bowl and cook mashed potatoes.
  4. Transfer the mass to a pan, add the remaining ingredients, and then bring everything to a boil.
  5. Cool the mixture and cut into slices with a knife. If desired, they can be lightly sprinkled with powdered sugar.

If you use this method as a dietary option, then honey can be taken as a sweetener. When serving, it is better to decorate such a delicacy with mint leaves.
