Bubbles on the palms are one of the symptoms of a skin disease called dyshidrosis. The main cause of this pathology is obstruction of the ducts of the sweat glands. This process contributes to the appearance of neoplasms, which are vesicles on the palms of the hands. They can also occur on the lateral surfaces of the fingers. The symptom of this disease is manifested on the soles of the feet. Doctors classify dyshidrosis as one of the varieties of eczema.
Bubbles on the palms also appear in people who suffer from excessive sweating of the soles and palms (hyperhidrosis). Usually this disease is associated with a violation of the functions of the vascular and nervous system of the skin. Exacerbations occur, as a rule, in autumn and spring.
The reasons that a person develops vesicles on the palms of his hands may lie in the pathologies of various organs. However, this disease is mainly associated with impaired function of the nervous system, with problems of the digestive tract and endocrine organs. Allergic factors and immune deficiency also affect the occurrence of dyshidrosis.
The causes of the disease, the symptoms of which are bubble neoplasms, can become household chemicals (fertilizers, kerosene, turpentine, dishwashing liquid, synthetic laundry detergents , etc.). Medical practice has documented cases of dyshidrosis resulting from the unreasonable use of antibiotics. The reason because of which the development of this pathology is possible may lie in certain foods (mushrooms, strawberries, etc.). Deterioration of the patient's condition occurs with nervous stress and malnutrition, as well as with increased mental and physical stress.
The first sign of dyshidrosis is a blistering
rash on the palms and feet. Much less often, it can be observed on the back of the hands and fingers. Multiple small vesicles, which are filled with liquid, are deeply located in the skin. Visually, these neoplasms are transparent, and to the touch - fairly dense. The size of the bubbles ranges from the size of the pin head to the pea. The manifestation of symptoms of dyshidrosis is accompanied by itching and burning. Affected areas of the skin redden and swell.
Dyshidrosis can also cause peeling of the hands. However, the causes of this phenomenon may also be:
- vitamin deficiencies;
- taking antibiotics;
- chapping hands;
- fungal diseases;
- scarlet fever.
Identification of the true cause of the disease, in which the skin on the palms is covered, can only be done by a specialist dermatologist. He will also recommend a course of treatment. Basically, the patient needs to take a vitamin complex and consume fruits. Any nourishing hand cream gives a good effect. It is applied in a thick layer and left overnight. To eliminate dry skin, grease your hands with linseed or olive oil daily.
If a person suffers from dyshidrosis, then he needs to give up any drinks containing alcohol. In a daily diet for this pathology, a greater number of dairy products (kefir and cottage cheese) should be included. The daily diet should include vegetarian soups, baked or boiled potatoes, fresh cucumbers, cereals, sunflower oil. Patients with dyshidrosis are recommended frequent walks in the fresh air. Such patients need to relax more and avoid contact with household chemicals.
